What the heck? Did they really have to divert the flight for this @ss hat's sake? Im pretty sure enlisting the help of a few burly passengers could have quelled this guy. And how the heck did he light a cigarette? They confiscate lighters at airports these days!!!

Channell #5 gives me an intense urge every single time. It must be banned as soon as possible to keep the planes flying.

Lighters don't set off the metal detector if you keep them in your pocket.

If I recall correctly, you are still allowed to carry two matchbooks (but can't have any 'strike-anywhere' matches).

Perhaps they should serve no more than one alchoholic drink to a passenger, if any.

Obviously it was the cigarette that did him in.

Maybe he has "specific identifying characteristics," and they don't want to taint the jury.

Or maybe don't let people board who are already drunk out of their mind.

Even if they're not releasing the passenger's name, I'm sure they're passing it around the airline community. It will be hard for this fellow to get on a plane for some time to come.

Great just great.

Now TSA is going to require that everyone go to the potty at the security checkpoint
