I hope my image hosting service will handle the bandwidth for these pictures. We'll see.

The public doesn't see enough of the good work the U.S. Army and the rest of our military are doing all over the world.

I reduced the size of these images -- the Army has the full-resolution pictures are their website (link above).

If the photos don't come through because of bandwidth problems, I think you can check back in a few hours.

How many folks believe that this latest charity or humanitarian service in that part of the world, will lessen their desire to see all infidels dead?

This act of "Christian Charity" will be viewed more as a sign of weakness and not likely to have ANY significant payback...

Pakistan remains the vagina that delivers virulent Jihadists.

Call me a cynic? Or a realist?

I had some of the same thoughts you did -- I figure that this relief work isn't likely to bring us goodwill in the Middle East, and it might get the bad guys so angry that they embark on more terrorism, not less.

But if you want to say we shouldn't do this work, then I disagree. We don't good good because we expect a reward -- we do good work because it's the right thing to do. When I see the hurt children we're helping, that's enough reward.

"When I see the hurt children we're helping, that's enough reward."

I suspect there are lots of children in our own and ally countries that would benefit from some outside help.... At least then, we wouldn't be aiding those that are more than likely to become our enemy -- by virtue of their "cult of hate and conquest" and "tribal" beliefs..

It has amazes me, that Arab nations of incredible wealth -- don't rush the funds or means to assist their own "Arab brothers and sisters" -- yet scream their heads off when we kill or imprison those attacking us...

I remain a firm believer that charity begins at HOME.... Then to our friends and allies..... Lastly to our vocal enemy -- if they and their ALLIES are also helping.

Well if you're unhappy about what we're doing in Pakistan, I'm not going to argue with you. When I look at these photos, I see something that's different from what you seem to see.

I think you see what you want to see.....and want to feel good about helping someone...
I see what I see...and would feel a hell of a lot better if we were helping ourselves or our friends.

The people of Pakistan are vehemently opposed to the United States ---- and have been major contributors to the war of terror being conducted by the Islamists...
Their animosity against us has prevents us from entering into areas of Pakistan where the militant Islamists have been granted sanctuary....

I don't believe charity spent on these folks is as justifiable as charity spent on our own and our friends --- and we should not be replacing the help the Pakistani SHOULD be getting from the wealthy Saudis and fellow Arab Islamists.

It is my opinion, a fool's effort to win the hearts and minds of the heartless and mindless.

I suspect my background and experience make it a lot easier for me to accept the fact that some folks are my enemy --- Militant Islamists from any Islamist State and especially Pakistan.

I'm disturbed be can find the Billions to provide relief to Pakistan for this event, Billions to Turkey for their recent earthquake, Indonesia for their tsunami (All Muslim Nations) ---- yet, we have our own wounded veterans that must wait for or accept less than the VERY BEST this nation can provide...

Too these old eyes......something is out of kilter...
Friends should benefit from their friendship with us, and enemies or supporters of our enemies should NOT benefit from our charity...with the U.S. being the primary "giver"...

A polite and diplomatic "assistance" -- but not the lead role or wallet -- as we were in all three of the mentioned scenarios.
