Russian President Vladimir Putin said yesterday that his intelligence service had warned the Bush administration before the U.S. invasion of Iraq that Saddam Hussein's government was planning attacks against U.S. targets both inside and outside the country.Yes, I always rely on warnings issued by ex-Colonels of the KGB. Yesiree, I certainly do.

"Yes, I always rely on warnings issued by ex-Colonels of the KGB. Yesiree, I certainly do."That's a good point. While I don't think Putin was trying to set us up in this case, Putin's warnings were just one piece of information that would have to be analyzed along with all the other intelligence before any action was taken by the President.

(What do Bush, Blair, Aznar, and Berlusconi know about Saddam's regime that Democrats don't know?)

I'm with you....sounds like Putie is a little confused here at keeping his story
straight. Doesn't sound like reliable info to me. First he says that Saddam's government is planning these invasions of U.S., and U.S. targetsoutside this country, and yet he's against us going to war in Iraq? Seems like he is talking out of both sides of his mouth.
Me thinks...something is fishy!! Whew~~~~

Yep, there is the issue of how reliable Putin is. The Left used that argument when this story first came out.
