I'm sorry, folks, but anyone who is familiar with Massachusetts knows that a Republican Governor now has absolutely no power whatsoever in the state. A Democrat janitor in the State House has more power and authority.
I've been waiting YEARS for a pro-gay pro-marriage pro-abortion pro-life anti-gun anti-2nd Amendment presidential candidate! Mitt Mitt Mitt!!!
Mitt also opposes the Cape windmill project, putting him firmly in the camp of Fat Ted, Kerry and Cronkite.
Romney sounds like a nice guy. However, I won't support anyone who can't carry his homestate.
Massachussetts is the strongest democrat state in Federal elections. Gore looked funny after losing TN.
Romney would look stoopid losing MA.

I'd rather have Rudy Giuliani who would of told Cindy Sheehan to stick it up her behind rather than meet with her.
I'll risk the social liberalism of Giuliani than risk the appeasing tendencies of Allen.
The world is far too dangerous a place to elect a rubberband man.
Hmmm, northeastern, Mormon, can't carry his own state... Suuuuuuure.
I will be elected president before Mitt reaches the White House.
The little I've seen of Allen, he just wouldn't make it.
Well, as a Tennessee native, it didn't look funny to me. Gore never was really a Tennessean, anyhow. He did carry his home district of Washington, DC, his birthplace. You are correct that Romney couldn't carry Taxachusetts. I could be wrong, but I believe Rhode Island is the most heavily voting 'Rat state at the Presidential level (and ironically, they have a Conservative Republican Governor).
Too conservative for you, huh?
Don't worry, there's no shortage of hard core leftists for you to choose from.
Romney doesn't have a prayer. Right or wrong, his religion will have a lot to do with it.
Allen's a compromising appeaser from what I've seen.
I would vote for any conservative who is nominated, but the conservatives must come up with someone who is a powerhouse.
You might be right. But then again isn't RI a MA. county?
If not it should be.

I'd keep it separate until Carcieri is replaced by a RINO or a 'Rat, then it can drop into the ocean for all I care. Probably time to cede the entire northeast to Quebec anyway (sorry, New Hampshire).
