I just thought what this site was truly about was expressing opinions: you know, reacting.

Swiss Army watch- that's it. I work with my hands. And glasses - no contacts - for eye protection. Steel-toed shoes to kick things out of my way. Did you ever notice that jeans are at their most comfy point when they develop holes?

Respected jewelers, like Tiffany & Co., and mass retailers, like Kay Jewelers, are trying to push a new trend--JEWELRY FOR MEN. Deb, jewelry for men is a very very old trend.
Guys not dressing up and wearing jewelery is what is an historical aberration.
I suggest reading a few books on the history of fashion before having a fit of vapors over the matter. Fashion trends tend to come and go.
I am becoming annoyed with people who seem to think all of history happened in their life time.

Jewelry that a man may wear makes him effeminate? John Hancock was quite the peacock in his day. And I would bet that he could kick the butt of most of today's self-proclaimed "manly-men" from Boston to Philadelphia and back again.
