Interesting index of articles on stem cell research especially as it relates to
nerve repair and Amyotrophic lateral Sclerosis (Lou Gehrigs).

Gnarledmaw, thanks for the ping anyway. I was about to post it, but E. Pluribus Unum saved me the trouble. Thank you E. Later, I just will link the thread.

Thanks for the link. This is exciting stuff! AND, you don't have to kill a baby for the cells.
It really frosts me to see all of the money spent on AIDS. I wouldn't wish it on anyone but it is preventable. What are the stats on women getting breast cancer? Pretty bad but activists have hijacked money better spent elsewhere. It seems to me, if you cure cancer, or other autoimmune diseases, you'd be well on the path to a cure for AIDS. Diabetes is another autoimmune disease they should spend more money on.
Much as I disliked Christopher Reeds politics, it would have been cool to see him and other people like him walk. I knew a guy in college that was a quadriplegic from a diving accident, I wonder if he knows of the progress they're making. It would be awesome to see him walk again. Hell, he would have been happy to have one functioning arm. Spinal accidents are hell.
