I am starting a new one too. Beerfestmas. It will be 10,000 times more popular than Kwanzaa.

I REALLY do not believe that the Hindu guy shopping for his kids at my local Sams Warehouse would be offended if I or a store employee wished him "Merry Christmas"

Kwanzaa already did that.

Ask any ignoramus that professes to celebrate Kwanzaa exactly what part of Africa corn comes from (it is central to the "celebration"). Ask them what part of Africa the NAME Kwanzaa comes from.

Ask them if they know ANYTHING about this "holiday."

They won't.

Diwali is the Hindu festival of lights celebrated by lighting candles and having fireworks displays. It celebrates the triumph of good over evil ( ancient Hindu mythology). I hear in India its the big big holiday/festive/sales season, same as Christmas here.
