Ollie North (I think it was) was on Tony Snow radio program this morning.

He said the reason Murtha is saying all this is because Murtha may be coming under Congressional investigation on some other issue(s). Murtha is wanting to make it appear that that investigation is retaliation for Murtha's opinion on the war.

If true, Murtha has a personal agenda in dissing the military and the war and the Administration.

Maybe, but I think he is repeating his same assertions from a year ago because the timing is now better for the left.

After Mr.Z blew up his countrymen in Jordan and was denounced by 250,000 protesters and his family, the left figures his power in Iraq may wane for a bit.

So they jumped in to take his place in defeating the US war effort.

And, the Dec 15 elections are coming up, which adds to their needs to humiliate the President and the US, painting the war as a failure now matter what the elections produce.

That's very interesting....I have posted several times that I thought the DNC and that lunatic from Vermont have pretty much told him that he need to tow the line on this one now or they would opposes his reelection...never thought about a Randy Cunningham moment....that certainly would be interesting if that an investigation is true and that he has some skeletons out there somewhere.

WE knew back then...that this was Pelosi and Murtha's way of "inoculating" Murtha from critisim and investigations into the same thing that took down Duke Cunningham,

Who I believe is an equally courageous war hero..but, it didn't keep HIM from being critisized by the right...or, keep him from prosecution...

Murtha BETTER see what happened to Cunningham...NOT depend on Pelosi to keep his fat out of the fire.
