What happened in Florida this past spring was state-sanctioned murder. A court forced her to starve to death. For the first time, we've come face to face with the Death Cult's ethic of convenience. Terri Schiavo would have been 42 today had she been allowed to live. My guess on the silence, like Diana Lynn argues, that many Americans have put up with, is that we're shamed. We know a great wrong has been done that cannot ever be redressed. In her memory, those of us who champion a life ethic must see to it: never again. That should be Terri's eternal legacy to the rest of us.

With nothing in writing from Terri, it was a criminal act. Then arresting people who tried to bring her water, also criminal to me. I hope those who allowed her to starve to death, get some harsh instant karma.

I'd go a step further - State sponsored - not just sanctioned.

Help - I know this is off topic, but I see you just posted and I need to ask a question. Sometimes when I pop into the Freeper comments, I want to click on "Pings", and they are not there. At the top AND the bottom of the page, it is blank where "pings"/"mail" should be. What happens to them, and how can I get them back? Thanks for your help.

Its the Left that wants this to all go away. A late term abortion, so to speak. Nothing to see here and besides, its time to move on.

Yeah, and we ALWAYS will! We will NEVER forget, and NEVER let it go!!!! It was outright murder by her husband, and the courts!

Now there you go again, bothering the death lobby and their supporters with facts. Millions of pets in this country get more dignified, painless euthansia than Terri did.

Combine this with the new Dred Scott ruling out of the HI Supreme Court, and the death lobby really is having a good year.

No one is really human. Animals get a lot more dignified deaths than Terri did and the Hawaii Supreme Court said if you're not born - you're not a really a person. Liberal abstract thought just boggles the mind.

The Terri Schiavo case was purposefully manuevered to a Leftist Court. Their agenda was met. God Help Us All should the Left persevere in their assault on this Nation.

Remembering Terri Schindler on her birthday; the innocent victim of the death cult....and of a government that has lost sight of it most fundamental sworn duty: to protect the lives of its citizens...especially the lives of the weak and the helpless among us.

Continued prayers for her wonderful family and for our country.

Those who killed Terri cared more for the shrubbery than they did for her.

This is a blot that will never be removed from the soul of America...short of our repentance and God's mercy, that is...

Thank you for posting this. I'm still haunted by Terri's death and the fact that this country allowed it. Thanks to those who are brave enough to keep telling her story.
When will Americans wake up? What if it were your child the government said could not have a piece of ice? What if it were you?
I pray that someday we will wake up, prosecute those responsible for her death and vow it will never happen again.

Won't happen, as far as government is concerned it's water under the bridge.

What a horrible thing this country has become!

To me, these are the defining issues of our times:

-Men(ace) in Black? SCOTUS goes Rogue...--

-Useless Eaters vs The Death Cult--

-Thunder on the Border-- (Minuteman Project)--

1- an unaccountable Judiciary.
2- whose life is it, anyway? Yours, or someone else's?
3- whose Country is it?

There are other vital issues, of course- but these three will determine just who we really are as a nation.
