The NY Republican Party is the model of the country club. It just seems to barely exist as anything more than a sideshow in a growing circus. We can only hope that NY continues to lose seats in the house with every census.
Great. Now they have one more chance to get it right. Pick a fireman or cop from the 9/11 heros or a Marine back from the fight against the Islamists and put the GOP and Conservative Parties behind them and make the next twelve months hell for Hillary.

Unfortunately, I have to admit that I agree with you. OK everyone knows that Pirro's husband was convicted of tax evasion---so it's not something that Hillary can pull out of a hat to shock the public. We know that Pirro isn't a conservative (but how many other NY Republicans aren't either) What can it be that has the party turning its nose up at this woman? C'mon, it can't be that she's a woman, (and a feisty one at that). Weld is as exciting as a bowl of cherrios. And who exactly is this dude they're pushing for state AG? I switched to Republican this year, but as far as local NY politics goes, I know Republicans are in such bad shape and in many ways so full of doo-doo. Pirro really is the only one that can give Hilldabeast a run for her money.
I think you're right...corruption and graft are rampant in the Democrat party and the Republicans in the state have to lean left to get a portion of the leftist NYC voters.
