I'd like to see the death penalty for taggers.
Nip it in the bud.

"Farrell also said too many people are in prison for crimes they did not commit. "

Tookie is far from innocent. He didn't start proclaiming his innocence until 7 years AFTER his conviction.

And, as the founder of the Crips gang, he's responsible for many more deaths!

Someone should remind Alan that the jury gave that monster the death penalty.

"My wife worked in Singapore for 10 years before coming here. I wish we had Singapore justice here -- you all would like it too:
In Singapore, when you are tried, found guilty, and sentenced to death, the execution is generally held the next morning!! No troublesome time-consuming appeals. A death penalty is just what it sounds like."

I also hear they have corporal punishment. Makes sense, no need to imprison non violent offenders, standardizes punishment so no one can claim racism or discrimination, no lawyers needed (bonus). Pity we don't have it here. I imagine it would straighten out the thugs. Maybe we should invite them to tutor our officials and run our judicial system once in a while.

"I hope he spends eternity in hell paying for his sins."

I'm sure he will. I'm hoping the same. But since he has not repented, he is mocking God in his willingness to punish him. So I'm sure God has something special up his sleeve. Or the devil does since he'll be more involved in administering the actual punishment.

"Actor Mike Farrell and Los Angeles City Councilman Bill Rosendahl, who also spoke at the rally, called for a moratorium on the death penalty in California until the Legislature can assess its fairness."

I have just one question, who the hell is Mike Farell?

He played BeeJay Hunnicut on M*A*S*H (a TV show). He was the character without character, probably why you don't remember him.

Countdown to Tookicide! Eat the agony, Beej.

Sure... being nice to convicted murderers is... a war on crime. ROFL. Liberals really come up with oxymorons I haven't thought of yet. With Tookie Williams, the NAACLP has really topped itself. And the rest of the murderer-loving crowd is scrambling to play catch-up.

(Denny Crane: "I Don't Want To Socialize With A Pinko Liberal Democrat Commie.Say What You Like About Republicans. We Stick To Our Convictions. Even When We Know We're Dead Wrong.")

LAPD reports that Tookie has offered NO HELP in penetrating the gang structure and provided NO ASSISTANCE in unraveling CRIP operations.

Do you really think he's "saved more lives than he took"?
HE STARTED THE CRIPS!
Every murder committed by that "organization" falls directly into his hands. And the murders he committed were only the ones for which he was caught and convicted.

Tookie's "anti-gang work" is nothing but a PR stunt by his lawyers. I thought nobody would fall for this, but apparently I was wrong.

Please don't misconstrue anything I've written as sympathy for Williams or a plea for mercy. I only put forth the possibility that his potential future usefulness to society could be a reason for allowing him to live. The average death row criminal has nothing to give, so I normally don't say anything like this. It's a cold calculation on what's best for society, nothing more. I'll agree with the gov's decision, as I'm sure he'll see more facts for this case than anyone here.

They probably do but the mass media does not report it.

They are not invited to any of the talk shows.

While I am against clemency, I am for Arnold releaseing , with the stipulation that he has to reside there, in Hollywood if he does not have the guts to order his execution.

Maybe they could get him a nice little condo near Mike Farrell.
