Well, I guess some people must have something to complain about... I like the card. With Barney and Mrs. Beasley and the cats romping on the snow covered lawn...the White House decorated for Christmas.

Bible verse on the inside.

Wow and I used to think that leftists were wacky for the things they rally around, protest and march...

This stuff over Christmas is approaching the overblown point.

What kind of idiocy is this? I got my Bush Christmas Card yesterday. The first thing you read when you open the card is:

"The Lord is my strength and my shield;
In Him my heart trusts;
So I am helped and my heart exults,
And with my song I give thanks to Him."
(Psalm 28:7)

Yeah. That is real secular. I thought it was awesome.

It`s cold tonite in Denver and Bush hasn`t done a thing about it.
I am so tired of this lets see how we can blast the President crap. Now his Christmas Card wasn`t right. Does anybody think he even knows? He might have a few things on his plate that he thinks are more important.

I got the holiday card from President Bush. I liked it. It's fine with me if they want to cover all their recipients with one card. It probably would have been a lot more challenging to figure out who was supposed to get the Chanukah cards.

Don't you realize that there 10-20 different versions of the Card that are sent out? White House computers make asterisks in data base mail merge.

Cards are sent out according to the level. Only a hundred or so are actually hand signed.

The choice of a passage from Psalms appears on some cards--carefully selected for acceptability.

My version is a nice picture of our President and his family in front of the Christmas tree, no biblical passage, but Happy Holidays.

Does anyone know of a conservative website where I can order liberal-bashing greeting cards? A liberal sister sends me a Bush-bashing card every chance she gets. There must be some sites where I can get Hillary or Kerry-bashing cards, aren't there?

Huh. I kind of liked it, my wife did too...IMHO, people are just too upset about the wrong things sometimes.

I'm reserving judgment until I hear what John Kerry has to say about this very important issue.

How stupid, its a christmas card for heaven's sake.

BFD, the card is sent to people of all religions, not just uptight christians.

There is a Bible verse in the card.

These cards go out to Americans of all faiths. I have no problem with "Happy Holidays".
