THE TOOKIE WILLIAMS LEGACY - Los Angeles gang-related crimes in 2004
L.A. County D.A. ^ | 2005 | L.A. County D.A.

Posted on 12/07/2005 9:47:30 PM PST by doug from upland

Pursuant to the L.A. County's recent presentation of arguments in the Tookie Williams case, the following are their crime statistics for gang-related crimes in the city of Los Angeles in 2004.

HOMICIDES: 291

ATTEMPTED HOMICIDES: 717

FELONY ASSAULTS: 2,616

ATTACKS ON POLICE: 61

ROBBERIES: 2,308

KIDNAPPINGS: 44

RAPES: 36

WITNESS INTIMIDATION: 754

ACTS OF EXTORTION: 20

CARJACKINGS: 188

It must be noted that these are only those crimes where victims were brave enough to contact the police and in just the city of Los Angeles. The actual number of crimes is likely significantly higher.

The quadruple murderer (probably more), the co-founder of the Crips, the man who never admitted what he did, is the man that some of the black victimologists are holding up as a hero. How pathetic and demeaning to law-abiding blacks, the majority of whom are good citizens and try to do the right thing.

On Sunday November 13, one week before the "Save Tookie" rally at San Quentin, fourteen-year old William Cox and a friend were attending a neighborhood carnival when they were gunned down by a man who mistook them for rival gang members.
Cox, who was not in a gang, was struck in the chest and died at the scene. That is the evil wrought by Stanley Williams!

.......and vote Democrat 98% of the time.

Maybe they have a different definition of the "right thing" in South Central.

Point taken. If they did the right thing, we really would have better race relations, the DemocRAT plantation would end, and the race-baiting poverty pimps would have to go beg a black entrepreneur for a real job.

ANOTHER CHAPTER OF THE LEGACY:

Stanley, Jr. is in prison for second degree murder. And the younger son will soon be in prison.

FONTANA, Calif. -- Southern California law enforcement officers searched Tuesday for a 36-year-old rape suspect believed to be a son of Crips street gang co-founder Stanley "Tookie" Williams, who is awaiting execution.

Lafayette Jones, a registered sex offender who may be in the Los Angeles area, allegedly lured a 13-year-old girl into his car in northern Fontana on Saturday, promising to take her shopping at a mall, police said.

Police told NBC4 that Jones allegedly sexually assaulted the girl at gunpoint.

"After he got her into the car, he put a gun to her head and forced the victim to commit certain sexual acts upon him," Fontana police Sgt. William Megenney told the station.

Heh... And those statistics are for just one year (2004). Multiply those by all the years since the founding of the Crips, whenever that was, and "Tookie" has a lot of things to answer for.

I have no sympathy whatsoever for this criminal. To call him an "animal" is to insult animals.

I agree with John & Ken, those talk-show hosts who have been hosting a "Tookie Must Die" hour every day for the past several weeks.

Heh... thanks for the invite, DFU! Maybe I will, at that. I've been listening to John & Ken when we're out driving around and doing errands during their show.

I read all 57 pages, and all I can say is WTH kind of drugs are people like Jamie Foxx, Mike Farrell (MASH) & other's taking, to want to see this monster take one more breath?

Is the Williams case just another chance to get their faces in front of a camera long enough, say something controversial enough, that some one somewhere will remember them, and maybe hire them or buy them a drink (or a Sherm)?

Thanks for posting this, Doug.

---He has no legacy worth remembering. In a week after they fry his ass, he will be forgotten. Don't give him or his supporters any thought after this is over. He is nothing. His only claim to fame is that he murdered innocent people. This does not make him an icon of any kind. He is the scum of society and the sons he spawned are no better.

Why don't these dolts show how much they like Tookie by asking a gang member to come live with them.

Or let Tookie go free and go live with Mike Farrel.

Gee...... just a few more shopping days to get a gift for Tookie.

What shall I send him ............. a 'Gourmet Cheese of the Month Club Certificate', a 'Series E Savings Bond' that matures in 25 years, or maybe a 'Make Your Own Wine Kit'?

Tough decision.
