If you lost your job due to this, it would definitely be religious persecution, and you could file suit. Ha.
But remember, over-religiosity on the job can be a problem, so pray you can walk the line correctly. God bless.

Don't forget lots of people you will sending you letter in mail. Like Red Cross, Heart Fund, Lung cancer, Breast Cancer and others. When I get one that say happy holidays I use there prestamped envelope and send them a note that says NO MORE MONEY TILL THIS happy holidays STOPPED. IT'S IS MERRY CHRISTMAS. All it will cost us time they send the envelope. This should stop a lot of this political correct stuff. Hit them where it hurts by our $$$$$$$$$$$ that seem to be the only thing they understand these days.

The truth is the A.C.L.U. never believed in separation of church and state as much as using it as a hammer to dampen Christianity, its symbols, its values. The proof? In the last two years it has taken up the cause of defending Islamic religious rights from wearing full-length burkas at community swimming pools to public school recitings from the Koran representing Islamic figures, to its silence on the issue of five-times-a-day-call- to-prayer loudspeaker announcements from mosques on public streets. The A.C.L.U. says, those are cultural expressions, not religious. Yet, Santa Claus, carols, nativity scenes, and crosses in military cemeteries

This whole ridiculous complaint and attack on this holiday because the secularists feel we should not use public/government property for displays of Christmas is so unreasonable. Lets take out the religious aspect for just a minute and think:
We are celebrating the birthday of a wonderful man who was compassionate, practiced human rights, inspired others to live moral lives, taught people to be forgiving and humble, lived simply and without greed, accepted His responsabilities, believed in helping anyone less fortunate, was virtuous, loved his parents, believed that everyone was equal, and wished only for others to have peace. In other words He was the epitome of great leadership. A hero and example to all people everywhere, regardless of religion.
We celebrate the birthdays of Martin Luther King, George Washington, and the likes of many other great men and women on public property.
We name streets, buildings, airports, (publicly and privately owned) after these people. Has anyone seen or heard of a street named Jesus Christ Ave., or a building, airport or any landmark named after Him? No, all we do is celebrate His birthday, once a year. A great deal less than is done for other leaders who are held in great esteem.
So
if I ever walk into an airport named after The Son of God, perhaps I will think things are finally equal in the way we honor those who achieved greatness in their lives on earth. Until then, let the public have Christmas the day of the birth of Jesus Christ and let it be celebrated at least as openly as the birthday of Martin Luther King. (Who, by the way, celebrated Christmas!)
And, just where is the Rev. Jesse Jackson on this issue with his pals in the ACLU? I don't recall him speaking publically on this issue. I wonder - which robe is he wearing now: The robes of a reverend, or his political suit?!
