Subject: Take Action - Join Us at Lobby Day!

alt

The time is now.

Planned Parenthood has joined with our coalition partners to host CHOICE NJ Lobby Day to fight for contraceptive equity!

WHO: You're invited to join activists from Planned Parenthood, NARAL Pro-Choice NJ, NOW-NJ, Sierra Club NJ, ACLU-NJ, and other progressive organizations at Lobby Day.

WHAT: CHOICE NJ Lobby Day is a collaborative effort to educate and train activists to lobby their elected officials directly to pass contraceptive equity legislation without loopholes this winter!

WHEN: Monday, December 12th at 9 a.m. Lobby Day will end early that afternoon, depending on legislators' availability.

WHERE: The offices of PPANJ, 210 West State Street in Trenton. After a brief training, we will walk to the NJ State House to meet with legislators.

WHY: Contraceptive Equity provides women with critical access to birth control they might not otherwise be able to afford. A good version of this bill has already passed the Senate - now we need your help so A-292 passes the Assembly with no loopholes!

This is a basic issue of fairness and equity.  Women of childbearing age pay 68% more for basic health care than men in the same age group because they must pay for birth control out of pocket.  Decisions about childbearing should be made by a woman, in consultation with her family, doctor, and her conscience, not insurance companies or employers.  If insurance companies cover Viagra, they should cover birth control too.

COST: This event is free! Breakfast and Planned Parenthood t-shirts will be provided.

RSVP: As soon as possible to Kelly at info@plannedparenthoodnj.org, 609-278-5863, or fax 609-599-4042.

We need your help to show our politicians in Trenton that New Jerseyans want quality contraceptive equity legislation! Please join us on Lobby Day!

This Lobby Day has more to do than with contraception, this is a move by all the pro-abortion organizations in NJ to train their members on how to lobby in the statehouse for a number of pro-abortion issues of that day and in the future.  They have the upper hand because the Democrats run the entire state government.

Having this Lobby Day on this particular day is a slap in the face to every pro-life Catholic in America.
Our Lady of Guadalupe is the Patroness of the Unborn and of the Americas whose feast day is on December 12th.

Our Lady Of Guadalupe

Notice how the earth worship people of the Sierra Club, are vile pro-abortion activists, and are joining Planned Parenthood's Choice Lobby Day.  Time and time again pro-lifers have said that the earth worship, environmental movement is more interested in protecting trees and animals rather than Human Life.

For Some Reason the Bishop of Trenton won't respond to the anti-catholic, pro-abortion, attack of Our Lady and the Catholics in his Diocese and the rest of the State.  He is letting down the unborn and every pro-life person of any religious faith in the State of NJ.

To date, Bishop Smith and his pro life office run by Rev. Michael Manning, M.D., S.T.L., will not answer our pleas for, at the very least,  a public statement issued to the religious and secular media..  Pro-life activists have been e-mailing the diocese for two weeks. We also requested an organized protest, that fell on deaf ears.  A press release could have been issued with no effort at all.  Please contact the reticent bishop and his pro life director here  you can then copy and paste the e-mails  into the bcc field.  And let them know that you are very disappointed at their inactions  and it's evident that the unborn do not have a voice in the Catholic Church, shame on them.  These are the same bishops who refuse to allow the dissemination of non-partisan, non-religious, issued-oriented voter guides to be placed on the windshields on the cars of  their parishioners.

Contact the 7 NJ bishops and their diocesan newspapers here, this is a problem for the whole state of NJ since the pro aborts will be lobbying for their legislation which will affect all who live (and those who have yet to be born) in the state.

There is a part of me that would like to make birth control mandatory for all unmarried women just to see the Abortion Industry and Planned Barrenhood crumble!

And of course the timing is intentional.

I'm not in the Tri-State area anymore, so are there any pro-life plans to rain on the Planned Barrenhood parade?
I know a number of abortion mills will close if they know that a large group will be praying that day-- I wonder if enough people could pray at Englewood to shut them down that day?

I would similarly adore to watch the Planned Barrenhood fall, but promotion of birth control is not the way to do it. The abortion industry and the contraceptive industry overlap in many cases, and PP makes a killing (in more ways than one) by selling contraceptives and abortifacient birth control.

Since a majority of women who have abortions say they were using birth control when they got pregnant, we can safely say that contraception does not prevent abortion. On the cultural front, such widespread use of contraceptives has separated sex from procreation to a point that people are shocked when the sexual act is successful in its biological objective of creating a human being.
In one of my undergraduate courses we talked a lot about gender, family, all that cliche college stuff, and during one class discussion about sexual and reproductive issues, I could see the wheels turning in my classmates heads when I pointed out that sex makes babies. They conceded that that could, in fact, be true, but had so lost any semblance of common sense that they could not draw a cause-and-effect conclusion from their knowledge of where babies come from. This is the result of growing up in a generation so surrounded by reproductive technologies and non-procreative sex, that the process as it occurs when medications and devices and surrogates and sperm donors are not present is confusing to them. I, personally, find this mechanization of relationships, physical intimacy and family; and its disenchantment with the mystery of human origins, sad.

I know they "say" it but this is simply not true, it is not even close to being true.

I imagine that a large number of these women didn't use barriers on the particular occasion on which they conceived, or that they skipped some pills or took antibiotics or herbs that counteracted the hormones, but the point is that encouraging people to contracept may not do much to prevent abortion. Condoms break and diaphragms slip. Also, the most popular methods have a significant chance of working after conception but before implantation. This gets them the name "contraception," but would do little to protect new little lives. Pills, shots, patches, IUDs, the devices women use to avoid the inconvenience of barriers or to avoid having to persuade their "partners" to use a condom, all fall into this category.
If one takes into account the 12%-20% "failure" rate of barrier contraceptives and assumes that a certain proportion of their users would abort when the contraceptives failed, one finds a fairly large number of abortions, even in people who are contracepting meticulously.

Moral Absolutes ping.

This is simply too disgusting for words. I am aware that there are many who do not subscribe to and even object to Catholicism's Canon of Saints; however, Planned Parenthood, I believe, knew full well what they were doing here, and it was meant as a specific affront. Planned Parenthood actually has no interest in ANYBODY EVER BECOMING A PARENT, there goal is too prevent EVERY BIRTH POSSIBLE by any means necessary.

Here's a little of the mentality of today's teenagers. Last night in my night school class, one kid told me he wasn't a boy, he was a man because he had a daughter. I told him, "that doesn't make you a man, that just makes you stupid". I don't think he liked it very much, but he didn't have anything to say except, "She called me stupid!"

Emails sent. This is outrageous, anti-Christian, hate-speech, hostile, and unnecessary.

Women of childbearing age pay 68% more for basic health care than men in the same age group because they must pay for birth control out of pocket

What a crock. A condom costs a buck. It costs even less to wait until your married.

Decisions about childbearing should be made by a woman, in consultation with her family

Planned Parenthood doesn't agree with that either!

Breakfast? I assume they'll be serving plenty of eggs. Maybe not, since the vegans are pro-abortion but scream bloody murder if you touch a chicken's egg.

Well if he's working, going to school, has goals to better his life and at the very least supporting the child and mother maybe he's on his way to becoming a man.

I sure hope so because because this world doesn't need another abandoned child and mother.
