Yeah they are partners till the fools get pregnant, and then they choice method to solve their little problem is...
May they all contract Montezuma's Revenge.
Typical.
And of course the timing is intentional.
I'm not in the Tri-State area anymore, so are there any pro-life plans to rain on the Planned Barrenhood parade?
I know a number of abortion mills will close if they know that a large group will be praying that day-- I wonder if enough people could pray at Englewood to shut them down that day?
I would similarly adore to watch the Planned Barrenhood fall, but promotion of birth control is not the way to do it. The abortion industry and the contraceptive industry overlap in many cases, and PP makes a killing (in more ways than one) by selling contraceptives and abortifacient birth control.
Since a majority of women who have abortions say they were using birth control when they got pregnant, we can safely say that contraception does not prevent abortion. On the cultural front, such widespread use of contraceptives has separated sex from procreation to a point that people are shocked when the sexual act is successful in its biological objective of creating a human being.
In one of my undergraduate courses we talked a lot about gender, family, all that cliche college stuff, and during one class discussion about sexual and reproductive issues, I could see the wheels turning in my classmates heads when I pointed out that sex makes babies. They conceded that that could, in fact, be true, but had so lost any semblance of common sense that they could not draw a cause-and-effect conclusion from their knowledge of where babies come from. This is the result of growing up in a generation so surrounded by reproductive technologies and non-procreative sex, that the process as it occurs when medications and devices and surrogates and sperm donors are not present is confusing to them. I, personally, find this mechanization of relationships, physical intimacy and family; and its disenchantment with the mystery of human origins, sad.
Planned Parenthood: Satan's little helpers.
I imagine that a large number of these women didn't use barriers on the particular occasion on which they conceived, or that they skipped some pills or took antibiotics or herbs that counteracted the hormones, but the point is that encouraging people to contracept may not do much to prevent abortion. Condoms break and diaphragms slip. Also, the most popular methods have a significant chance of working after conception but before implantation. This gets them the name "contraception," but would do little to protect new little lives. Pills, shots, patches, IUDs, the devices women use to avoid the inconvenience of barriers or to avoid having to persuade their "partners" to use a condom, all fall into this category.
If one takes into account the 12%-20% "failure" rate of barrier contraceptives and assumes that a certain proportion of their users would abort when the contraceptives failed, one finds a fairly large number of abortions, even in people who are contracepting meticulously.
This is simply too disgusting for words. I am aware that there are many who do not subscribe to and even object to Catholicism's Canon of Saints; however, Planned Parenthood, I believe, knew full well what they were doing here, and it was meant as a specific affront. Planned Parenthood actually has no interest in ANYBODY EVER BECOMING A PARENT, there goal is too prevent EVERY BIRTH POSSIBLE by any means necessary.
Planned Parenthood, I believe, knew full well what they were doing here >>
yep, you got it...they sure did
Here's a little of the mentality of today's teenagers. Last night in my night school class, one kid told me he wasn't a boy, he was a man because he had a daughter. I told him, "that doesn't make you a man, that just makes you stupid". I don't think he liked it very much, but he didn't have anything to say except, "She called me stupid!"
Our Lady of Guadlupe, pray for us!
Well if he's working, going to school, has goals to better his life and at the very least supporting the child and mother maybe he's on his way to becoming a man.
I sure hope so because because this world doesn't need another abandoned child and mother.
That says it all.
