Where to Buy Christian Christmas Gift Wrap?
Posted on 12/11/2005 3:45:50 PM PST by Tangerine Time Machine
Each year it gets harder and harder to locate Christmas wrapping paper with a Christian theme. You know, the designs we used to take for granted: Babe in a Manger, the Three Wise Men, Peace on Earth, etc.
I thought it would be useful to pool our resources as to what is available out there in stores and on the Web.
After a few hours on Google, I've found two designs that fit the bill:
Jeweled Peace
We Three Kings
Clearly my Google-foo skills are deficient. Anyone else have some good sources?

LOL! So you DO have a pet!
Well...it's revealing that this chalkfarmer character, whose screen name I've never read before even though I've been here under two different screen names since 1998, hasn't clarified his/her statement despite multiple pings.

Hey,I'm confused too. I was just here for the craft ideas:') Yall know how I feel about PC Christmas but this thread wasn't about that. LL had a good point though about why spend time and money on special Christmas wrap if you are just going to throw it in the trash. As for why religious wrap, for me, it would be getting back to basics and what Christmas is all about.. I passed on the santas and stuff this year. They are cute and fun but not what I'm looking for. I'll pass on the candy molds too. I did see something interesting (and expensive) today at Walmart though. They have plastic , rubber made, flexible cup cake holders that can be baked. Now that intrigued me.

I checked on chalkfarmers posting history and he/she posts only here and there, maybe one post every few days or so...so I am actually not expecting any response from chalkfarmer, tho I would love to be proved wrong...I wish chalkfarmer would come back and tell us exactly what they meant in their post...

Equating Jews with dogs is a Muslim propaganda technique. And a Catholic one, sad to say.

After checking chalkfarmer's posting history too (thank you for pointing me to do the obvious) most of his/her replies see to be one liners not necessarily related to the original post. Though I glom he/she is one of those who think Martha Stewart got a raw deal, which leads one down the road of the idiot posters who insisted there was no justuce in the Bush administration and Ken Lay's prosecution meant nothing as long as Martha was convicted.

That's it exactly for me as well. I didn't start this thread as a political act, but out of a vague yearning to get back to the basics. I love the Santa wrapping and all the rest. But for one year, I want to restore some balance in my own Christmas life.

I read my reply to you again, and it sounds disingenuous. Didn't mean it to. What I really learned tonight is in #172. I'm a big defender of Free Republic.

A child that is born of a Jewish mother *is* Jewish.
A child that is the child of a Jewish father, by Halacha is *not* Jewish, but many people call them half-Jews.
Make sense? If it doesn't, go look up how Hitler determined who was Jewish and who wasn't.
Being Jewish, while not a race, is also not about accepting Jesus. It's a tribe, a culture. . .
*sighs*

Back to post #1. Did you find what you were looking for?
To: paulat
Aww c'mon. Some of us do have reason to fear that history will repeat itself, especially since Hitler and Stalin's lapdogs have taken up their legacy of world dominance. It's not all that far fetched. Then there's the whole Holiday Stress syndrome that so many people suffer from. It happens this time of year, even if we wish and believe it shouldn't.
I'm going to bed,. Have a long day ahead tomorrow. Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to you.
