Ratner was a protégé of William Kunstler, and presumably Marxist Arthur Kinoy & Morton Stavis (CPUSA) too (via NLG/CCR).
He was an avowed Marxist (psychopath) and admitted it in a article published in the late 80’s by the Council on Inter-American Security re a debate with Michael Waller.
