FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - If Palm Beach County, Fla., prosecutors decide to charge Rush Limbaugh for his prescription drug use, they'll have to do it without questioning the conservative radio host's doctors about his medical condition, a judge ruled Monday.

Obvious, but not if you live in a Lewis Carol world.

It's Florida, nothing is obvious (except, perhaps, the turn signal which has been blinking for 80 miles on the car in front of you).

You mean Demo(n)cRAT hack prosecutors aren't allowed to go on fishing expeditions!?
You'd think conservatives had Constitutional rights or something. This is outrageous.

Not to Roy Black, who was pushing for a ruling that the doctors could NEVER be questioned, giving them the status of a priest.

Good Lord, are they still on this extended fishing trip?
It makes you wonder how many real crimes aren't getting prosecuted in that district, while the idiots use all their resources trying to get Rush.

When you drive through the mirror in FL, all speed slows to 15 mph under the stated limit and always in the passing lane. When they choose to make a right turn, no problem, they'll just cut across 1, 2 or even 3 lanes because they just "remembered" that they need to go to the pharmacy to get their fill of drugs.
I'm headed down in January, but I'll spend most of my time on the golf courses, beaches and bars. The little time I'll be driving will mostly be after dark and the early birds will, by and large, be in their nests.
It's a great place to visit, but you have to give the blue haired drivers more than their share of the road {they don't see you and worse, don't care}.

Man can you imagine what it would cost if every first time offender got this kind of scrutiny?

If doctors shouldn't be given the "status of a priest", then why should attorneys? In other words, why is the attorney/client privilege more sacrosanct than the doctor/patient one?

"...if every first time offender ..."
If Rush acknowledged that he WAS a first time offender, this would have been settled long ago.

AOL's headline banner says prosecutors CAN question Rush's doctors. I wonder who is correct?

You forgot all of the "invisible" drivers -- driving huge Lincolns, Chryslers and Cadillacs -- running red lights and stop signs. We lived in Clearwater for two years, and I never thought we would get out alive!
