Her testimony will be live on the Internet at www.katrina.house.gov according to Shreveport Times.
Hearing is supposed to be 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time. Not listed on CSpan programming yet.
Is Comedy Central going to be broadcasting her testimony?
Mee Maw's gonna be tranked for sure today.
She will probably use yesterday's levee test results to steer the blame to the Corps of Engineers. Conveniently timed, huh? I also find the timing of these hearings quite interesting - opposite the election in Iraq. If the MSM doesn't like the (good) news coming out of the elections, they can just ignore that news and go to the hearings. Sorry about the rant. I am p****ed,
MEEEEEEEEEEMAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!
It allows them ....There, fixed it.
BTTT
You are exactly right. There will be little if ANY coverage of Blanco because anything that could take the heat off of Bush is intentionally ignored by the MSM.
I think there will be some fireworks today though that will warrant some coverage. There is talk of some communications between Blanco and the DNC immediately following the levee breaks that could be fodder for good testimony.
If she is run through the wringer by the Republicans on the Hill today the MSM will portray her more as a victim than anything else. They are so damn predictable it isn't even funny.
I think the "frumpy" look would do well today...
ping
ping....
BTT - stream is up.
I would so love to see her whip out her lipstick and start putting it on in front of the cameras. LOL
I wonder if Cindy Sheehan is jealous....
where's the link for this hearing?
Oh, here we go..
Money is going to Iraq and foreign countries, so it should go to New Orleans instead.
Oh, here it is....everything is FEMA's fault.
The response by Louisiana was valiant, yet no mention of the preparation.
