From a worldly perspective, yes it is unbelievable. However, from a biblical perspective, it is very believable.
I do not know you or what, if any religious beliefs you may or may not have. I myself am very conservative Christian with beliefs that bring understanding to what is happening in the world, and in our time.
I WILL NOT preach those beliefs to you unless asked. From your statement that "This is all just unbelievable to me." It sounds like you could use words that help make whats happening bring you some comfort. I would however, love to share with you those words, but only if you want them and ask.
