FBI agent testifies Arizona bookstore owner is suspected...
A federal agent on Friday named an Arizona activist bookstore owner as the second suspect in the 1998 arson attacks at Vail resort that stood for years as the most damaging single act of eco-terrorism in the nation.
Catalyst Infoshop owner William C. Rodgers was the second suspect this week linked by a federal law enforcement official to the $12 million conflagration that has been cloaked in mystery for seven years.
FBI Special Agent Doug Linter testified in U.S. District Court in Flagstaff, Ariz., that investigators suspect the Prescott, Ariz., bookstore owner in the Vail fire, as well as a number of other arson attacks.
On Tuesday, a prosecutor in Portland, Ore., said Chelsea Gerlach, 28, of Portland, also was suspected in the Vail fire.

The Earth Liberation Front, a radical environmental group, e-mailed "a communique" to the ski operator three days after the fires...
Rodgers was arrested last week at the community center and bookstore he co-founded after his graduation from Prescott College.
FBI agents arrived at The Catalyst Infoshop about 1 p.m. Dec. 7, arresting Rodger and sealing the store, said Sarah, a 21-year-old volunteer at the center who declined to give her full name.
She said the agents were in the store for about seven hours and left with several boxes of seized material...
It listed boxes of suspected bomb-making materials such as timers and relighting birthday candles, three guns, and two digital photos of nude, prepubescent girls stored on a compact disc.
Linter also reported a recorded conversation in which Rodgers told an unknown acquaintance that he was "planning something big" involving some kind of arson after the end of his relationship with his girlfriend, Katie Nelson.

What is so sweet about the recent charges agains these eco terrorists, is how the FBI and AG's office has over turned the Jake Reno/Gorelicker rules to never investigate these crimes.
These eco terrorists thought that they could do anything and never worry about being charged for crimes.
Hopefully, we will see some charges and info re who has financed these eco terrorists for decades.

My wife is an avid reader of all types of books. When we go on vacation in N California or Oregon, or day trips to the California coast, she wanted to visit the local book stores.
In many of the smaller towns, they are often owned by hostile gay couples. Their windows have posters from local, regional and national hate America organizations.
They often will bring in some wild A$$ liberal to push their books or the liberals with a whine and cheese party after hours or on a weekend. Sometimes they have free coffee or an overpriced coffee shop which proclaims to be a green coffee shop in their stores.
After 9/11 the postings on their windows, doors and by their cash registered reeked of DU stuff and other hate America left wing groups. I told my wife, she could go into these hell holes, but I wouldn't. During 2004, she stopped going into them because of their posted hatred of President Bush.
In summary, I doubt if this is the only left wing bookstore that has been involved in past and maybe current terrorism against America.
