The American people expect me to do everything in my power, under our laws and Constitution, to protect them and their civil liberties and that is exactly what I will continue to do as long as I am president of the United States," Bush said.

Thank you...and may God continue to bless you, Mr. President.

One complication, practically speaking: When the 22nd amendment was passed, I believe it exempted the current occupant of the White House (Truman) so the measure could gain the necessary bipartisan support. Would that be necessary this time too?

I've seen Russ Feingold this morning on two cable networks already.
This is part of the damn WOT, this propaganda nonsense.

Looks like the Democrats are all trying out for the part of
Goebbels.
Or Lord Ha-Ha.

(Hey, some Democrat has to do it, seeing how those two great
propagandists are dead and buried.)

Welcome to FR. Just today, I see.

You don't believe that Congress was briefed dozens of times about the fact that NSA was spying? Don't let the facts get in the way of your agenda.

s the 'leaker' of classified information to be found and prosecuted

Only if the Bush Justice Department decides to prosecute. So far in his administration only Republicans have been fair game.

Let's break apart the word...

"Dina", meaning, ahhh ...big and dumb.

"Sour", meaning, ahhh, gone bad, you know, like milk...

Dinasour. A perfect choice!

You know all this would end if Bush would just have a couple of the leakers called up on treason grounds, I can name a few senators, convicted and hung in the green.

In fact at the diner this am I almost decided to order Eggs Democrat instead of Eggs Benedict.

Does the President have enough security clearance to know about such highly secure operations, not to mention sign off on them?

If I've said it once I've said it a thousand times . . . .The NSA's job is to listen - to people both Foreign and Domestic!

Everyone who's "in the know" knows this - every Senator and anyone with a classified clearance - and any average citizen like me who takes the time and bit of energy it requires to learn about things like this.

The NSA's job is to listen - to people both Foreign and Domestic!

Bump for Investigate, Prosecute and Jail the Traitors (I guess this country's just too liberal for firing squads, ya think.)
