Pirro may have to drop out of Senate race after all :-(

3. Poll: Pirro Wouldn't Capture Attorney General Post

Jeanine Pirro would fare better if she ran for New York attorney general instead of remaining a challenger to Hillary Clinton in the Senate race, but she would still face an uphill battle, a new Zogby International poll reveals.

State Republican leaders have appealed to Pirro, the Westchester County district attorney, to give up her run against Clinton and instead face possible Democratic candidate Andrew Cuomo, son of former Gov. Mario Cuomo, in the attorney general race.

A Zogby poll in September had Clinton leading Pirro by a larger margin, 57 percent to 34 percent.

The new poll showed that Pirro actually fared better among men than women. Men gave Cuomo a 46 percent to 39 percent lead, while women favored Cuomo 53 percent to 26 percent.

Even among Republicans, support for Pirro is shaky - she collected just 67 percent of the GOP vote.

It looks like Jeanine Pirro may not be a good bet for a run at the New York Attorney General office either !

Too bad :-(

But since her chances for winning the Senate are slightly higher, maybe she should consider running against Hillary for her seat . It would force Hillary to spend her money, and delay her campaign for the Presidency).

Curious point from the Zogby poll; Pirro gets higher points from the Men, than she does with Women .

I believe they mean GOP men and women here, and even if they do not, the question would still be, why ?

Are women voters put off by strong women, or do men find Pirro sexy ?

Is there a reason you only post about Pirro and Katherine Harris?

Pirro appears incompetent and not ready for prime time. No grace under pressure.

Sorry, I don't find facelifts to be sexy. Pirro is the Lebanese RINO Nancy Pelosi in terms of looks and brains.

Not that there was a lot to begin with, but the NY State GOP's behavior has taken all the wind out of the sails for either of these races. No momentum or even a desire to create momentum. Pirro can't run for AG as a "second choice." She can't make it as a Senate candidate anymore either. She stepped up to the plate and was then betrayed.

Ohh, that's such a low blow !

Nothing in this universe is as haggish as that Pelosi from California .

Well, maybe that scary Delauro . .

'Betrayed' Is that not too strong a word ?

Betrayed by whom exactly ?

If you mean New York's 'Conservative Party', they were at odds with Pirro's socially liberal stands to begin
with .

LOL! This is without a Repub challenger??? What kind of Republican party is this? I would not run for dog catcher with that sort of party backing. Relocating sounds much better...

Hey, they are preferable to John McCain for president .

He does not deserve to be the GOP nominee .

He is more of a Democrat than Joe Leiberman .

McCain thinks he is owed the nomination, thinks that Dubya cheated him out of it !
But he has nothing to offer in difference to the Libs and Dems .

If he did win the Republican nomination, then if he wins or loses the presidency, we lose either way !

I don't know anything but I would bet there is a sealed indictment with her name on it due to vote fraud. No reporter has asked her to my knowledge if she knows if she is under indictment.

No, it is not too strong of a word. She got in there and was willing to fight, and then Bruno and company stabbed her in the back.

The only way a republican is going to win this seat is if hillary doesn't run again for it. We might prefer hillary winning this seat unscathed as she may be the weakest candidate the Rats could put up in 2008.

MAYBE !

But I do not think that Hillary will be a weak candidate !

Not unless she has some skeletons in her closet that are begging to be found out !

I have to admit that Pelosi does have great legs, though. As do Harris & Pirro.
