Not unless we put someone like Black Jack Pershing in charge of the "Expeditionary Force".
When are we going to stop pussy-footing around with the enemies - foreign AND domestic - of the USA?
Not until we elect a conservative US executive. Review my arguments on the same story on an earlier post.
1st Armored is redeploying from Germany to Ft. Bliss, TX. I wonder how far south they could go before running out of gas?
Napalm
Argentina?
Can you say, "That's putting it mildly!!" and is less than an honest statement. Mexico is just ramping up its border crossing protection efforts, not so much to make it easy for the regulars to pass over, but to insure the drug pipeline doesn't get clogged. I suppose it was predictable.
Our silence and refusal to act to deter the drug flow is our formal consent and admission of complicity. What else could it possible be?
Are we supporting the pipeline at the cost of allowing terrorists to cross over as well?
Has anyone asked? I don't think anyone seriously believes Fox wouldn't have ordered this, and he is very much arrogant enough to admit it.
if the military of a foriegn power(Mexico) shoots at U.S. government security personnel(Border Patrol),isn't that an act of war by international law? .........if so,doesn't that mean (again by international law)that a state of war has existed between Mexico and the U.S. since the first confirmed incedent of this kind?
Mexico is NO friend of the U.S. - we have to get people to start realizing it. Mexico is promoting and assisting in illegals crossing our borders. It is a corrupt Govt from top to bottom.
Heck yes, we need to get our Military on the border and not tie their hands. They would make these guys step back a couple of paces in a real hurry!
Screw ANWAR, drill Mexico!
Are we supporting the pipeline at the cost of allowing terrorists to cross over as well?"
No.We are supporting the pipeline to justify the multi-billion dollar war on drugs.
"It's time to bring in our Army."
Yes, it's time. Who will get this in motion? Can a state request protection from the Army?
I can't see Pres. Bush sending in the troops on his own (though he certainly needs to). It would take state pressure.
BTTT
George Bush is courageous against Iraq and Al Qaeda yet sucks up to that 3rd cesspit to our south. Why I don't know, except that we want Mexican oil especially with how Hugo Chavez is behaving. And some of the our *One Worlders* want unification with Canada and Mexico. The corporate cheap labor lobby also wants us to accommodate Mexico in every way. Just look how the Mexican consulates behave on US soil.
The drug pipeline and the alien pipeline are part of the cost of the oil pipeline.
