On the Web site, naked sylphs share space with graphs of forest loss over time and exhaustive lists of the benefits tropical rain forests provide to society.
It's a novel approach to eco-activism, certainly, but one the duo hopes will help save the planet. Indeed, in its first year of operation, this unlikely project has raised nearly $100,000 for rain forest protection through the sale of paid memberships.

I have no problems with this, I'd rather see someone put up nudie pics rather than spiking trees, burning down houses or passing out pictures of butchered animals to kids. I think they will discover that the people who visit this site will not be paying attention to the message anyway.

Hmmmm. Naked humans in nature. Throw in some trees with magical fruit and a talking snake and there'd be the makings of a book.

The title is sort of misleading, since there's no indication these two are involved in either PETA or ELF.

What is with the left, homosexuals, and the whackos and the constant preoccupation with EVERYTHING sexual?
Were they somehow created with this massive brain defect in which gray matter is replaced with gonad material?
What the **** is with them?

I think they will discover that the people who visit this site will not be paying attention to the message anyway. They'll pay very close attention for a couple of minutes then the will all of a sudden mysteriously lose interest.

Yoko Ono -- whose 1969 Bed-ins for Peace with John Lennon made international headlines -- reportedly called the whole affair the best art project she had seen in Norway.See? Yoko likes it. It's all good!
