Isn't this exactly the type of reasonable, rational and impartial person we need on the courts?

Seriously, the country is better off without this kind of partisan hack on such an important court. Now "W" or John Roberts (Not sure which) gets to appoint a much better judge in his place.

Thanks Dude!!

He was so concerned he continued to sit on the FISA court for 4 more years. Until the NYT runs a story about it.

Sure he was concerned. Just like Rockefeller and Pelosi.

Two associates familiar with his decision said yesterday that Robertson privately expressed deep concern that the warrantless surveillance program authorized by the president in 2001 was legally questionable and may have tainted the FISA court's work.

Ok, let's see....judge expressed deep concern, but by mere coincidence the Clinton appointee waits until 4 years after the fact, and the middle a big media $**+ storm to resign. Wouldn't it be interesting to know what his follow-on job is?

Maybe he resigned because he's part of the leak to the Times.

This article is using third person speculation to prove their premise.

Yes, it is...but it sure makes for a pretty headline though.

So I assume he approved it when Clinton did it. That's the scary thing.
