That would make Jonah Goldberg about 10% of the annual tourist traffic to ANWAR /sarc/

I can understand media bias designed to block a bill that one can reasonably object to, but what possible purpose does lying about ANWR serve?

Pristine, pristine, thats what anwr is. Anyone with pictures of the abundant and soon to be lifeless bodies of all the wildlife in the refuge? No? Pita is having a fit, enviro nazis are having fits, democrats are having fits.
Such fits have not been seen in the history of fits. All, over mere drops of oil, not enough to even make it financially worth while. Destroy the world, the watch cry of the stupid republican.
Brought to you by well meaning, compassionate, wise stewards, and worthy upholders of all the founding fathers sacrificed for, commonly referred to as members of the democrat party.

We know the truth what ANWR looks like where the drilling will be. What puzzles me is so far I have seen almost no photos either in the MSM or FOX. FOX disappoints me tremendously. Talk just doesn't do it. What's up with FOX for the last year. Beginning to lean liberal. RATS get 2/3 of the talk time and we are lucky to get 1/3 of what's left.

I would like to propose a Bill before the senate or house that would make it LAW for any US media outlet to run any files, be it photos or video or audio without a date stamp. I remember the Guantanamo Bay issue that was going on and the media, FOX News included kept playing years after file footage of the terrorists in Guantanamo in those chain link fences. Did you know that they were only in those conditions a couple months?
The media has full access to Guantanamo why didn't they update their file footage? I strongly feel any file footage should have a date stamp above or under where it says file footage. I have also seen similar misuses when they talk about Iraq then they show OLD file footage of a car bombing or something. How are people supposed to think the war is going when they keep seeing the same footage? Maybe if the footage was dated some of this confusion would be cleared up.

Fox News Channel also had some pristine wilderness pictures complete with snow-capped peaks and Rocky Mountain Goats frolicking on the slopes which they claimed was ANWR. They didn't explain that this area was hundreds of miles from the mosquito-infested mud flats where ANWR drilling would take place.

What media bias!<<< Right, none! This is media fraud, media lies - not bias
May sound like splitting hairs but media bias would be something like showing a real picture of the area and submitting that while it doesn't look too appealing they are still against drilling because of the danger of soaking the sand and polluting the water with oil.
Since the picture they used has no relation to where drilling will take place....it fraud, pure and simple.

There's only one little problem. The drilling in ANWR won't take place anywhere near those mountains. I just posted this to show off my new tagline ---->

The mountains seen in this photo are not particularly pleasant places and no animals live there. Bare, cold rock for the most part.
