I've heard more than one lib I've dealt with waxing enthusiastic about a second Kennedy in the Whitehouse. One felt that his Catholicism this would make him a hit in the Red States! Of course the same bunch also furvently believes that that political tsunami, Russ Fiengold, has a near lock on the 'rat nomination. Obviously were dealing with a Biblical level of valuelessness.

I think most of Kennedy's most disgusting behavior over the last couple of years has been designed (in his own rum soaked brain) to bolster his presidential prospects. He thinks he is copying RFK's aborted (by Sirhan Sirhan) '72 presidential bid. He's a peace candidate and man of conscience that will use the Camelot mystique to catapult himself into the oval office you see.

Or he is just a bitter old alcoholic. It will need to be a big catapult.

I am absolutely shocked that that sodden old mass believes he has any chance in the world of being president, it truly takes us into the Land of Oz. But, it is now my suspicion that Democrats perhaps in general have no lost touch with reality. It's not like the old days, when they could at least put up a good argument, today they don't even try.
