GLITTER’S payoff ruse will encourage thousands MORE perverts to prey on desperate kids in countries like Vietnam, a charity warned last night.

The alert was sounded by Shy Keenan, founder of the Phoenix Group, which supports child abuse victims.

She said: “If these monsters read you can buy your way out of trouble for just a few thousand pounds, many more might head out there.”

Glitter served time in Britain for possessing internet child porn.

And Shy said: “We have been campaigning for tighter safeguards to stop sex offenders leaving the country. But this news will send out the wrong message.

“Letting them go to these countries means they are not only exploiting innocent children, but also the fact the nations are so poor.

“A few thousand pounds is a lot over there. But it shouldn’t mean escaping justice.”
