I question the timing! This is clearly meant to deflect attention from the terrible NSA scandal!

I think that Forecaster Franklin just made this up so that he could win a bet by calling the last storm of the year or the correct number of storms for the year. Probably an office pool. ;-)

They really should lay off the weather control machine. Sorry about that; Halliburton just sent us improved control consoles for Christmas and the news guys couldn't resist trying them out.
They've been temporarily demoted back to the Heineken loss prevention department, though, and we should be ready for Operation Crunchie Frog by mid January...

I bet Jack Abramoff has something to do with this too. His lobbying Mother Nature must have influenced the weather :-)

And the sh*t head from Searchlight, Nevada, Harry Dingy Reid, will not return any money he has received from Abramoff, and Tim Russert will not challenge the "Searchlight Sh*t head" any further about this, despite him and his sons receiving more money than Tom Delay ever did.
Harry Reid makes Tom Daschle look like a Statesman!

You know... Tom Daschle used to make me angry with his partisan comments, but "Dingy" Harry Reid, and Nancy "Botox" Pelosi really get under my skin. I honestly believe Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez are more supportive of our Foreign Policy than Pelosi and Reid are.
If the Republicans gain seats in the House and Senate, look for an exodus from the Democrat Party... My tagline explains why

I dunno. It seems to me that the Weather Bureau is being especially attentive these days. I followed the satellite coverage religiously through the season, and I'll grant you that I was skeptical several times, e.g. early Wilma, and even early Katrina, when they really did blow, but OTOH, did you know that Katrina came within a whisker of being Jose? Wouldn't that have been something! Jose gained tropical storm strength for a just a few hours, then disappeared. I really have to wonder whether it would have been "named" in years past.
