Go PW!
Temmecula needs counter protesters! Grab your flags and head north to support our troops!
The Temecula Duck Pond has only a small fenced area surrounding it, capable of holding only dozens within hearing range without amplification. Therefore, can we assume the organizers are expecting a small turnout? Or is it that they are planning to demonstrate at the Ynez/Rancho California intersection, or even planning a march?
"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing."
Edmund Burke - 18th Century Irish Philosopher and Statesman
According to the website "Bring Back Their Buddies" this group will most likely line-up along side the street on the sidewalk while dressed in black. They will have signs like "Bring Home the Troops Now" and "Support Our Troops..Bring Them Home"
I do NOT think that this will be a full fledged moonbat event with bongo drums and bullhorns. In Temecula, this message would be completely rejected. This group is attempting to appear more mainstream hence they are using the message "Support The Troops..Bring Them Home"
It is unlikely that there will be a march...at least on the streets. This intersection has a lot of traffic and it would make for a lot of irrate drivers and complaints to the City Council. If they were to march it might just be around the park; there is a paved walkway that surrounds the pond. The park itself is a medium sized park, est. 12-15 acres (but not huge when compared to Balboa Park, etc.) There is a white wooden ranch style fencing that separates the park from the two streets, Ynez Road and Rancho California.
I mentioned the Veterans Memorial because last fall there was a peacenik demonstration staged there. They may also gather there to give the media the impression that they have the support of veterans and the military. Rest assured...there will be media at this event, albeit it will mostly be local coverage.
Don't be so dismissive of Kucinich. Can 1% of Americans be THAT wrong?
SIGN IDEA: A 'Progresive' is a Communist too ashamed to admit being a Communist.
CHANT: They say they're Vetreans Against The War In Iraq,
They go around the world stabbibg our troops in the back.
Rinse and repeat...
They really ought to declare some of these lefties enemy combatants and sent them to Gitmo. I'm not saying this about all of them -- some are geniunely well-meaning, IMHO -- but some of these guys, the Michael Moores the Tim Robbins, really are trying to bring this country down. There's a word for people like that: traitors.
Ping!
We must be there in numbers. We've seen the pinkos
turn away, we can do it again.
Pings all round

Thanks for the ping!
Yes, it is true... at its heart, the Democrat Party wants a Socialist America.
Want proof? Here is a list of self-proclaimed Socialists in American Government:
http://www.restoringamerica.org/documents/socialists_in_congress.html
Note that the Democrat LEADER in the House is among them. They are all members of an organization called the Democrat Socialists of America. They even have a website: http://www.dsausa.org/dsa.html
Here is their mission statement:
"The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) is the largest socialist organization in the United States, and the principal U.S. affiliate of the Socialist International (also in Francais and Espanol). DSA's members are building progressive movements for social change while establishing an openly socialist presence in American communities and politics...
"We invite you to support the campaign by adding your name to the list of signers of the Pledge for Economic Justice. In conjunction with the Campaign DSA is working with the Congressional Progressive Caucus, a network of more than 50 progressive members of the US House of Representatives...
"The Progressive Caucus of the US House of Representatives is made up of 58 members of the House. The Caucus works to advance economic and social justice through sponsoring legislation that reflects its purpose. The Caucus also works with a coalition of organizations, called the Progressive Challenge, to bring new life to the progressive voice in US politics."
You can't make this stuff up... it's a fact.
So, when you go to the voting booth in November, before you pull the lever for a Democrat, realize that doing so could very well put the Socialists in power.
