US Coast Guard District 9 Chiefs Raise funds for Charity (EVERY Browns home game)
Long hours, no pay, cold/numb body, sore feet, sore back,
do these words equal FUN to you?
Well they do to the District Nine Coast Guard Chief and their friends and family who meet at the Browns games each home game to man the booth.. #148 that is on level one at the end zone(opposite the notorious Dawg Pound). Arrival at the stadium is shortly after 9 AM & you walk out about 6PM or later, sharing funny stories of the day.
Freeper and Coast Guard Master Chief OneLoyalAmerican( Chief Joe) is in charge and here is checking the list. Health & safety codes, keeping money straight, having enough crew, doing the job right & smiling through it all is Joes job. He is from Chicago, employed by major university but was called up from the Reserves to Active duty in Cleveland where he keeps us safe working with the Coast Guard & homeland security.
Here are the Coasties that deep fried Fries, grilled dogs/burgers/ served up beer & soft drinks along the way. The job also includes CLEAN UP at the end. Anyone who has any experience at all in a commercial kitchen knows how much fun this is.
Below is the whole crew. They are: Chief Trish Feeney,Chief Sherry Housley, Chief Frank Magrans , Senior Chief Jane Akers, Commander James McLaughlin , Ensign Thomas Ayoub , Chaplain Commander Herb Griffin, Ellainia Griffin, Phillis Clipps , Philip Clipps , Chief(ret) Gary Seifert , Dorothy Seifert, Dolly Howard(DollyCali), and Master Chief Joseph Benning(OneLoyalAmerican)
Below are Freepers DollyCali and OneLoyalAmerican & next pix Dolly Cali finishing the popcorn detail, which she learned was much easier than pouring draught beer or manning the cash register!
Below you see Chief Joe (middle back) with some decked out Browns fans
Yes, family and friends.. We really did work!!!! Now if you are visiting here & are a conservative & military supporter, why not register (free) and join us???? Post or lurk. You will like us to be sure
And WE WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We beat the Ravens! Any fan of Cleveland sports knows what a frustrating thing it is to be a fan of pro sports in Cleveland.
But our team pulled out the last game of season & I just so happened to be out to take a few game shots when the winning touchdown of game is scored. See #86 (DENNIS NORTHCUTT) celebrating in end zone. He just scored a TD & celebrates with the rest of the fans
A humorous front sport LARGE lettered headline that you will not see again this year,
UNDEFEATED IN 2006
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Dennis Northcutt (86) walks off the field with quarterback Charlie Frye (9) after the Browns won their final NFL game of the season, 20-16 over the Baltimore Ravens Sunday, Jan. 1, 2006, in Cleveland.
Go Browns !!!
