McManiac is a liar, a thief, a fraud and an enemy of the Republic and the Constitution.

In that case, you are barking up the wrong tree, imo.

I will NEVER vote for John McCAin.

CFR is the real sticking point - but I also understand why McCain got into it...he was tainted with the Keating Five campaign finance scandal and this was his way, I guess, of showing his fiscal purity.... Which just proves that his ego is larger than life. Who destroys the first amendment just because they were burned? He was not the first guy to get singed by free speech. Nor is he the only guy to get caught in questionable campaign funding ethics. But only a fool would think the answer is to make certain political speech illegal (which is exactly what he did.) He is like the guy who takes the speck out of his brothers eye and ignores the log in his own.

GOP can't stand McCain, and the Dems can't stand Lieberman. Not sure who that ticket would attract.

Giuliani/Rice--is a huge winner!

"Giuliani/Rice would win,..." Nope, Nope, Nope.
The base will not come out for the liberal Giuliani.
Long way to go but Allen/Barbour is my hope.

No way will the GOP put two pro-abortionists on the ticket.

I like Lieberman but he is a Democrat. I hate McLame and he is a RINO. No way could I vote for that ticket. Can't you find two Republicans to run?

"No way will the GOP put two pro-abortionists on the ticket."
I will NEVER vote for a pro-abortion candidate. I am as likely to vote for Giuliani as for Hillary (in both cases, when hell freezes over.)
Putting Giuliani on the GOP ticket will push 10-15% of the electorate to a third-party CONSERVATIVE.

If fresh blood doesn't show up soon, it might well be '08 will get to the Conventions pushing walkers.

Unfortunately, I think it's possible that some liberal nut job will assassinate Bush and that will change the entire dynamic of the 2008 election.

abortion will not be an issue in '08, our very survival will be, abortion will be a 2nd tier issue after 2 more appointments to the SCOTUS are made before the 2008 general election. Rudy won't have squat to say or do about choice one way or the other at that time, imo.
we are dealing on theoreticals here, after all. ;-)

McCain is too old. But that's about the only thing a 'Rat/'Rat opponent could bring up.
This pairing is stunning and brilliant. And this McCain/Lieberman RINO/'Rat combination is very scary. It makes too much sense. The media will love it!
This is what happens when Republicans don't vote like Republicans.
I won't vote for them, but I'll almost wager my next paycheck that this is the first real ticket to beat in '08.
