One Funeral Away From Civil War January 2, 2006: The head of UNMIK (UN operations in Kosovo) believes that 2006 will be an important year for Kosovo. That’s because 2006 appears to be the year Kosovo's "final status" (either independence or an autonomous province of Serbia) is determined. Meanwhile, 17,500 peacekeepers remain on duty in Kosovo. Austria issued a statement asking that "the dignity of the Serbs" (ie, Kosovar Serbs) be respected as Kosovo's "new status" is resolved. This statement and several like it indicate that the UN and nations in the region believe Kosovo will become a separate country.

The illness of Kosovo's president Ibrahim Rugova complicates the diplomacy. Rugova is the "old man" of Kosovo's demands for autonomy and recognition of Albanian Kosovars' rights. Rugova was leading peaceful protests against the Yugoslav government in Belgrade in the early 1980s (as part of the "Albanikos" movement). Rugova is regarded as a moderate, especially when compared to the KLA (Kosovo Liberation Army) vets who form the hard-line anti-Serbia cadre in Kosovo. One report suggested that Rugova is "sinking fast" and that his illness is terminal. He refuses to give up power even temporarily. There is no moderate politician comparable to Rugova. If illness or death removes him from the scene the political fight among Albanian Kosovars will be ugly. Expect violence from the old KLA faction.

December 31, 2005: Islamic terrorists in Bosnia have been found cooperating with local criminal gangs. After the Cold War ended in 1991, the Balkans became the home base of some large criminal gangs. While Albanian gangs get most of the publicity, they have plenty of competition from Serbian organizations. In fact, Serbia has become the primary transit point for drugs, goods and people (including women forced into prostitution) smuggled between Eastern and Western Europe. The Albanian gangs dominate in Albania, Kosovo and Bosnia. Islamic radicals came to Bosnia during the 1990s to help local Moslems fight Serbs in the civil war, and many stayed behind after the fighting stopped. Some of these guys have gone to work with the Albanian gangs, to raise money for the cause of Islamic terrorism. This is not unusual, for much of al Qaeda's activities have been found to be financed by criminal activities. But getting open cooperation from criminal gangs is unusual. However, the Albanian gangsters don't see themselves as supporting terrorists, or if they do, it doesn't bother them. Many Albanians are Moslem. Increasingly, Islamic terrorists in Europe are found to have been smuggled in by the Albanian and Serbian gangs. Bangladeshi Islamic radicals have established themselves in Bosnia, along with older Arab crews. Bosnian police are trying to keep the al Qaeda groups off balance and unable to plan operations. If a large attack were traced back to Bosnia, it could have catastrophic repercussions, with cuts in foreign aid from angry West European donors. But Bosnia has become something of a rest stop for Islamic radicals, and that's bad enough.

I not only insist but it is a fact. I know about about the smuggling routes, the ties to the Islamic Fundalmentalist and Albanian Mafia. The CIA is also linked with this effort. Once Kosovo gets independence, if they do, which for five years I had reported in every meeting I could attend that they would most likely not get independence. If they do the precedence would affect B&H, Volvidina, Sandjak, and many others in other countries as well. The Mafia which controls Kosovo, would then start operations in Southern Serbia, Western Macedonia and Montenegro. They will try to link with Albania later. It is planned. The Islamic Fundies are licking their lips that they can also expand their influence more than have since 1999. A planned suicide bombing of Camp Bondsteel was thwarted several years ago as Al Quada had Charities that were running rampant withing Kosovo (RHIS, Al Haramain to name a few).......An attack by Al Quada was also conducted against U.S. CivPol Officers in a bus as you may recall if you are aware of the significant events. It was said that the shooting was due to an argument about Americans being in Iraq. This was not true. It was a planned attack.......according to sources.

Racak and Srebrenica was almost total fabrications. Yes the Serbs were murdering POW's. But the KLA was murdering Serbs, Albanians and are still murdering Serbs as of this year. I have the proof as presented by many onsite and investigations. The Clinton Adminstration completely fabricated the reasons for going into Bosnia and the remainder of the Balkans. Although, the Serbs did kill POW's and the Serbian authorities are talking care of them. Much unlike the Hague that are letting Criminals Like Ramush and Fatmir go free.

The Clinton Adminstration and CIA trained insurgents against the Serbs which included Muh. from Afghanstan as well. On many occasions NATO leaders, such as U.S. President Bill Clinton, Secretary of State Madelaine Albright, Defence Secretary William Cohen, or the British Prime Minister Tony Blair, his Foreign Minister Robin Cook, or Defence Minister George Robertson told the public that thousands of Albanians were being massacred. Indeed, the daily stories of massacres, as related by NATO spokesman Jamie Shea, were the glue that kept the alliance together.

Four months after the occupation of Kosovo-Metohija by NATO and investigation by forensic scientists from North America and Europe, the "mass graves" yielded less than 500 bodies. Evidence of wanton massacres and dead bodies are nowhere to be found.

The ICTY issued a statement some time ago during the investigations saying they did not want to get involved in a "numbers game," i.e. not predict the number of bodies until they are unearthed. This would appear to be a logical course of action. On the flip side, how is the ICTY able to issue indictments for "atrocities" and "mass deaths" that still remain to be uncovered?

Of the 7,500 to 8,000 murdered Muslims, (Hillary at one time said 7,500), they found 3,010 of the missing civilians on followup OSCE election lists. I have a partial listing by name of 350 of the alleged 3,010 that voted the following year. They participated in the Bosnia's election and as I said were on the OSCE voting lists. This "paradox" was presented to the OSCE and European Union by Dr. Dragan Kalinic, at that time President of the RS Parliament.

There is a criminal campaign to actually change history of the Serbs starting in 1992 or so. You cannot trust most books or historical books written pre-1991. The Albanians for example, formed their own Nazi SS aligned with Hitler. They murdered thousands of Slaves and Jews during this period. It is a historical Fact. As a matter of fact it was called the Skenderburg Division. The same name of the group formed and operating in Macedonia as we are talking now. They formed back in 2000 to 2001.

Hoplite I see you are trying to make friends again. I can just imagine what its like living in a trailer with nothing to do but sit in front of your computer and try to bring down the real people (veterans) who have been to Kosovo. Tom has walked the walk and you can only talk the talk or should I say talk other peoples talk.

The truth here is that your grand scope of understanding is based on one short tour of duty as a reservist cook in some far off kitchen that nobody remembers or gives a flying f__k about. I bet you have a tattoo to remind you of your cooking tour. Crossed spatulas and proud of it?

Tom has been in Kosovo longer than most and as a mater of fact I agree with what he is saying. We have both been there and have come to the same conclusions. What does that tell you? To take criticism from some ex reservist cook is pathetic. You don't even come close to the level of understanding that Tom Gambill has of Kosovo and of the KLA/Albanians. We do! So sit in your trailer you old fart and let people in the know do the talking....
