Gingrich did a valuable service to the country and the conservative cause, but he buckled under the enormous political pressure and before he left office in disgrace he had practically turned into a RINO.
Besides which, he was an economic conservative, but never a social conservative. We need both, but in any case for tens of millions of voters the right to life is the bottom line. Not a chance that he can make a comeback.

I have seen Newt several times at dinner at my favorite Italian restaurant in McLean. The first time, I had my infant son in my arms and he held the door as we came in. I halfway expected him to have horns and a tail....was pleasantly surprised. He seems to be a genuinely nice man.

The challenge is to find a fighting conservative that will expose the Marxist Medusa for what she is at and before election time. No more Bush elitists/internationalists. No more Bush dynasty with a One America agenda. So please forget Jeb.
This country needs STRONG, FIGHTING CONSERVATIVE leadership. Not another half-baked, pseudo-conservative who is really a liberal on domestic affairs. Conservatism is the ONLY force which can turn Washington back into a government FOR AND BY the people...something long since forgotten in Congress.
