I won't trust control of our country to a man who can't even control his own penis.

I take your point, but am constrained to point out that we don't want to trust ANYONE to "control of our country."

That is NOT the President's job description, although too many people seem to forget that these days.

If Gingrich, McCain, Romney, etc RINO gets the nomination, I'll waste my vote on the Taxpayers party for the 1st time

Gingrich, not only no but he-- no. I respect what he did in the GOP taking over the House; and he has excellent intellectual skills; and I agree with him on nearly every issue (especially the Contract for America). However, this guy's ego is just too big and he seems to have a problem with the fair sex. He is on wife number 3 (not necessarily a problem), and he dumped two previous wives for younger women. For this reason, women will simply not vote for him. He may be good as a candidate to get out conservative issues, but he can't win the nomination and can't win the Presidency.

McCain is a traitor to the Republican party, pairing himself up with Kerry and Kennedy.

If he was running, I'd stay home.

LOL.

This guy has to be smoking something. Newt Gingrich will probably never run for public office again -- mainly because he's incapable of winning anything more than a House race.

It is tragic what has happened to America and to Washington. The people who really care about preserving the greatness and freedoms of America have no representation. Washington has become a "power country club" whose members don't give a damn about the country.

I agree with your analysis, it is a good one.

I can see via his TV appearances, that he will attempt another run. He's been to Iowa and he'll be back again.

I think Newt is a brilliant strategist.

I also think he's totally blind to his own baggage and thinks he can dupe the general populace.

I have been campaigning for Republican Presidential Candidates since Goldwater in '64. I'll vote for him, but I won't work for him.

I have no desire to have to stand up in public and defend the Vanity Fair article.

My Native American name is 'Manhood Scrapes Knees'.

I'm part Mohawk (should be a way to cash in on that, but I haven't come up with a gameplan yet) and my given name is 'Less is More, but More would be Nice'.

Have a good day.

Regarding immigration, he said on c-span this week. Seal the borders and implement a guest worker program administered by American Express or MC/Visa, as the government bureaucracy could never handle it.

I would rather see Newt than John McCain on the ballot - McCain and Feingold are a dangerous pair; McCain's torture amendment is tying our military's hands even further and Feingold is more for "privacy" than the security of America. We need the Patriot Act and both men are in their ‘private’ way – standing in the way of that very successful security tool…………. Gingrich is speaking for Americans again.

Matt Towery is smoking something he shouldn't be smokin'!! The chance Newtie has of being the Republican nominee fr President is the same for me becoming an astronaut. Newt has way too much baggage, is a lot like Clinton, (womanizer) and has the low moral values of a rattlesnake. I think he is a pompous, blowdryed, blowhard, but I also think he is as smart as a whip, uses conservative talking points well, but still thinks like a Rockefeller Republican. He is a politician's politician, and that ain't saying much in my book. Towery needs to re-think his scenario, because he is all wet with this one. As far as McCain is concerned, he will never live down the fact that he was bought by Mr. Keating, a banker and a thief. John was an un-indicted co-conspiriter in that debacle that cost us taxpayers millions of dollars. I think both of these so-called leaders have serious character flaws and I hope neither of them decides to run for President.

I need more information from him before I'd vote for him. I know the dems hate him a heck of a lot.

Most public opinion surveys list McCain as the early first choice of Republican voters to be the party's nominee in '08.

Are these really Republican voters? I can see McCain being the choice if they ask everyone about the Republican nomination. But not if only actual Republicans are asked. I can't stand McCain and would not vote for him. And I won't vote for Gingrich either.
