No, the Senate just needs to buckle down and get this done in the proper way-- this is a lifetime appointment.



Agree.... and the proper way is to follow the Rules set out for the Committee which includes the ablility of either side of the aisle to ask for be granted a one week delay in an upcoming committee vote. It has been done in the past and until the rule is changed it will most likely be done in the future.

This one week delay in the vote isn't going to change anything. Instead of Jan. 17 the committee vote will be held one week later.... This is a lifetime appointment and one weeks isn't going to make or break it.
