3 weeks ago 22 counties were represented at a meeting we had concerning Primary Challenge and candidates to run for senate and the assembly. We hope to make a big splash this year in the capitol..

(((((((La Enchiladita))))))) ~ you are indeed an angel unaware this evening.

My mother has been gone several years now but a day does not go by that she isn't in my thoughts. We shared so many wonderful aspects of life together and were fortunate enough to have spent a great deal of time together.

Perhaps because I'm not feeling all that well, I have been especially missing mom the past few days and she seems to be in my every thought. My birthday was a few days ago and it was always my custom to celebrate that occasion by thanking mom for giving me life ... I really missed being able to share this past birthday with her. I missed talking with her and listening to her.

If there is any symbol in the world I associate with my mother it would be a pansy. My mother loved flowers and worked daily in her beautiful garden for most her life - but, of all the flowers, the pansy was the most special to her.

If you look closely at the above image you will notice each of these antique teacups depict purple and yellow pansies! ~ This very special collection was started by mom many, many years ago and she past them on to me shortly after I married and set up my own home. Over the years I have added a cup here and there as I was able to find them.

Traditionally, in the language of flowers, pansy's represent "Thoughts" and seeing the lovely "Get Well" image you posted was as if mom was whispering "I'm still with you".

Thank you - for your thoughtfulness. You blessed my heart greatly this evening.

David does fly helicopters...he is now qualified as an instructor...but he does that outside his Air Force job. He just decided that he wanted to fly them and did it on his own.
