Many non religious folks would despise Christians without these statements too.
Quite true. But why give them any further ammunition?
Bingo!
The man is a loose cannon!
He does not represent most Christians I know.
If what you say is true, then these so-called "non-religious folks" may not only be mind-numbed robots, but are disingenuously holding a standard of perfection of "folks" that is expected of NO ONE group of "folks" -- dumb-@ss Freepers included.
IMO, it's just an excuse to hate ALL Christians.
And then some Freepers whine about being judged as a "right-wing nuts" because a few Freepers out of thousands say something inappropriately.
He is biblically correct which makes the pronouncement plausible. But nobody likes a prophet, much less a guy that might be right despite popular opinion.
"US Christian broadcaster says Sharon's stroke divine "
US evangelical broadcaster Pat Robertson suggested Ariel Sharon's stroke was divine retribution for "dividing God's land" of Israel, igniting his latest trademark controversy.
"As the Israeli prime minister battled for life, Robertson seemed to suggest to viewers on his "700 Club" television show that Sharon was being punished for his policies in Gaza and the West Bank. "
PURE LIBERAL SCUMBAG BS!
First he says it.
Second he suggested it
Third he seemed to suggest it.
Make up your mind before libeling Robertson.
Does anyone really believe anything this man says?
I saw through him ( And Baker, and Swaggert and others of their ilk) over 25 years ago!
Pat Roberts organization is out for $$$$$ in a manner much like Jim Bakker's PTL except no condos.
