That's Blacksburg for you. A good friend of mine told me her son received a speeding ticket for going 27 in a 25 mile hour zone. And no, she wasn't making it up, she made a copy of the traffic violation and put it up on the board for everyone to see. Outrageous.

.... He's a punk....like the rest of the Virginia Tech squad.

I think Virginia Tech just demonstrated what a sportsmanlike team should have done. There have been few teams that have acted against their benefit for something that would have been easy to forget.

Perhaps, they aren't all punks?

Dallas should draft him. He should fit in.

No. I prefer he go to Philadelphia. I hate the Eagles.

The best place for Marcus Vick right now is a stint in NFL Europe before being picked up as a free agent by an regular NFL team.

If he tries the same crap in the pros that he pulled in the Gator bowl, he will get absolutely stretched out. Carried off on a gurney, unconscious.

This creep should be in prison.
Likely will end up there.

Alternatively, there may be some kind of justice if he had to settle for the Canadian, Euroweenie or arena football leagues.
He could still play football, but nobody would ever hear of him again.

It might be Raritan. I do remember, when you first see the limit sign, you're tempted to put on the brakes. There are a bunch of apt. complexes on the road and it's on a campus bus route.

This is not about whether we took a few liberties with our female party guests...we did.

It's amazing how many people on Freep thought this stuff was funny when Otter and Boone were doing it.

The Gator Bowl isn't the only place he pulled this crap. He did it all the time...nothing new to him. He is a thug. Period.

But don't you think he'll alienate the fans and flame out as fast as Leaf did?

Don't know yet. Nothing's happened since he's not even in the NFL yet. But NFL fans won't be on him immediately for what happened in college.

So many of them are one injury away from standing on the street corner with a pocket full of rocks and a heater saying "what cha need man?" to every other person passing by.
You are absolutely right. It's an embarrassment in this nation that we enshrine individuals with such low moral character.

Vick claimed it was accidental, but hurt his cause by claiming to have apologized to Dumervil, the NCAA sacks leader. Dumervil said he received no such apology.

This is why so many criminals are convicted. They are stupid and try to talk their way out of it. If he had just kept his mouth shut, he would have fared better. I see a member of Future Raiders of America here.

Marcus Vick decided to turn pro Saturday, one day after he was kicked off the team at Virginia Tech for transgressions on and off the field.

The mind is a terrible thing to waste. He should stay in school until he gets his degree and then play pro ball. Think anybody would sign a forty year old thug quarterback?

When was the last Cowboys arrested?

Well, they did have a retired player busted a few weeks ago (Irvin). Of course, no arrests occur while they were still in the playoff race, but since they got eliminated, the arrests look like they have started. Here's one for you:

Updated: 4:20 p.m. ET Jan. 1, 2006

AP

DALLAS - Dallas Cowboys receiver Terry Glenn was cited for public intoxication late Friday, police said.

An off-duty officer caught Glenn urinating behind a fast-food restaurant, Cpl. Jamie Kimbrough said. Glenn was handcuffed but not taken to jail because he was with a sober adult, which is standard procedure, Kimbrough said.
