If you're a regular reader of Turkish Press or Geo in Pakistan, you already know that on December 23, Three Algerians arrested in an anti-terrorist operation in southern Italy are suspected of being linked to a planned new series of attacks in the United States, Interior Minister Giuseppe Pisanu said Friday. The attacks would have targeted ships, stadiums or railway stations in a bid to outdo the September 11, 2001 strikes by Al-Qaeda in New York and Washington which killed some 2,700 people, Pisanu said.
But if you have been relying on the U.S. media to warn you about things like this, you haven't heard anything about it.
The blockbuster article by Steve Hayes linked to below notes that many of the terrorists who trained in Saddam's camps in Iraq prior to 2003 were from North Africa. It would be interesting to know whether some of the Algerians who were plotting to "outdo the September 11, 2001 strikes" were trained by the Iraqi army. It would also be interesting to know whether NSA intercepts played a role in catching these terrorists.
And you'll never this type of news in the USA because the MSM is doing everything they can to derail this president and get him impeached. We'll never see the good this president has done until the history books are written.
Let's hope those history books will be written. At the present time, with our nation divided by a congress more bent on power mongering than on performing their duty, the outcome is uncertain.
Can there be any more compelling evidence that the illegitimate MSM outlets in the USA have ceased to be both news organizations and business enterprises? Only hateful, driven leftist ideologues would choose to ignore this story to the detriment of their business and credibility.
If anything DOES happen, they'll try to blame it on a weather balloon, air pocket, bad transmission, gas leak, depressed college kid, WHATEVER as long as we're not blaming the Religion of Pieces for it.

Those who want to use this as a springboard to attack liberals should check out the Progressive magazine. It's editor was on ca-an this morning and she definately lives in what Rush Limbaugh calls a parallel universe. The sad thing is that it prompted people to call in and complain about their phone service. Unfortunatly, they are more ready to believe that clicks on their phone are the result of a bloated, government protected monoploy than by evesdroping. I do worry about the 10 million who listen to Art Bell and subscribe to outrageous conspiracy theories. and, I think all this opportunistic ginning up of issues to raise money contributes to and exploits this tendency.

Was it after this date? I think they realize that in order for another attack to occur (so they can blame Bush for it) these pre-attack arrests will have to be stopped.
