I was sitting on the commuter rail when I nearly laughed myself out of my seat while reading a discarded copy of Friday's Boston Herald. What was so funny? Not the comics, but this article on John Kerry criticizing Governor Mitt Romney's hunting trip at the "Sportsmens Challenge" at this weeks Republican Governors Conference.

Poor John. I feel kind of guilty because the pajamahadeen were so mean to John the fake hunter during the campaign. It has left him scarred for life. From now on all hunters are real fakers to John and he is the real hunter.

In a way, Kerry reminds me of the character(Bromhead) Michael Caine played in 'Zulu'... in HIS mind anyway.

I always picture him as a little boy in an "elite" school and like a kid we had in our school. No, we weren't always kind.
I betting I could have beaten John at marbles. He certainly isn't competitive in the ordinary and that makes all his friends politicians and/or politicians. For sure, he married that "nightmare" for her money. He is what he is.
He would have been a lousy President but then, Hillary was not planning a win for him...otherwise she would have run as VP. Had he won, as a sitting President, he would have had an edge on Hillary and that would have thrown Hillary into 2012. She's just one clever *itch.
I wonder if Mandy Grunwald had anything to do with Kerry's campaign. She was Bubba's campaign manager.

Indeed, but it is *always* prefaced with: I belieeeve.

I think daffy duck was responsible for John's hunting adventure. Disney World's Eisner was just trying to help John feel safe with gun owners, but...alas...the pajamhadeen struck out of nowhere again.

Another sign to hunters that Kerry isn't one of them are his comments about his hunting past. His website claims he loves to hunt and eat dove. But, although his comments were blindly accepted by the media, they sound suspicious to real hunters. Talking about dove, he said, "You clean them. Let them hang. It takes three or four birds to have a meal. I love dove." However, anyone who has hunted and cleaned dove knows that they are small and nothing on them is worth saving but the breast. You don't clean and hang them; you just extract the breast, which is the size of half a walnut, with your thumb and throw the rest away. This story sounds like a Kerry fabrication because no one I know recommends cleaning and hanging dove.

Yeah his kindo hunting is "crawling, stalking deer with my trusty double barrel shotgun"
Ha - that would make most real deer hunters laugh so hard, they might fall out of their stands and land on him if he crawled by.

Hard to load or unload without sticking the muzzles in the dirt, a great way to blow up barrels.

Lurch to his daughter: "Hey honey, I'm going shopping. Would you help me pick out a jock strap.... Does this one fit alright?" I'm paraphrasing the event. Any FReepers remember this incident?
I still do, unfortunately. Just plain icky. It'd be akin to a daughter asking her dad to help her pick out a g-string.
