It would be a different matter if he was doing so directly in a manner that supported a declared enemy of the United States, but that description doesn't include Venezuela

That description may not fit Venezuela as a country, but it does fit Chavez, who's done everything except declare war on the US, and it certainly fits the ideology Belafonte's promoting. But more importantly, Belafonte is providing propaganda for the people who are enemies of the United States - the actual terrorists, who feel more justified and gain more sympathy every time one of these traitors calls Bush a terrorist.
