Rep. John Murtha (D-Pa.) met with leaders of the anti-American group Code Pink last week at the anti-Operation Iraqi Freedom meeting in Arlington, Virginia hosted by Rep. Jim Moran (D-Va.)
Code Pink posted pictures of the meeting along with a statement indicating they will be working with Rep. Murtha to deliver "kindness and support to the wounded soldiers" at Walter Reed.
Code Pink has given $650,000 to the terrorists in Fallujah, participated in war crimes tribunals against America and has called American soldiers "killers" on their website among many treasonous actions.
Text of Code Pink's statement on meeting Rep. Murtha:
Thank You Congressman Murtha! CODEPINK co-founder Gael Murphy and DC coordinator Allison Yorra met with Congressman Murtha to thank him for his courageous stand on Iraq. We presented him with our pink badge of courage and pink flowers sent by CODEPINK members nationwide. Rep Murtha was very appreciative of these gestures and requested that we ask legislators to support H.J Res 73 (Murtha's resolution). He also requested that we use additional donations for the wounded at Walter Reed. DC CODEPINK along with other peace groups involved in the weekly vigil at Walter Reed recently delivered baskets of goodies to the wounded at Walter Reed. Together, with Murtha's office, we will be continuing this outpouring of kindness and support to the wounded soldiers from CODEPINK.
Come to think of it, I haven't seen his name mentioned on CP lately. Maybe after he dropped off the supplies to the Fallujah "insurgents" he did his Islamist duty and has met his 72 Virgins?

I hope they are under investigation for their treasonous acts. IIRC, the last trial for treason was back in the 40s.

Kristinn had the unfortunate opportunity to speak with Medea Benjamin at one of our Freeps at WRAMC. Medea stated then, that the "aid" group they were working with was opposed to the Iraqi government and the coalition forces.
That kind of narrows down considerably which side got the money and supplies.

He's not right in the head. I don't care what he did in the past. It's what he's saying and doing now that matters. He's endangering our guys.

Murtha - a liberal, left-wing treasonous RAT B@ST@RD. I don't give any credit to this A__Hole at all for his past service record. There are millions of ex-soldiers & veterans who served their country honorably and would do so again. Murtha is using the shock value of his betrayal to deflect & obfuscate his ethics violations. If Repubs had any balls at all, they would call for an immediate ethics investigation of Murtha and actually do it. Murtha is doing this now so that he can paint the Repubs as bent on vengence if they list him for any ethics violations at all.

My son's about to join up for Ranger training. He has lots of friends in the Army and the Corps, and he tells me that they've been listening to the liberal BS in the public schools for so long that they don't even pay attenton to media whores like Rep. Murtha anymore.

Odd that they are so safe here and doing nothing but spread hate.
I have heard Iraq citizens, call the talk shows and they are the real people of the world and beg us not to leave Iraq, until the full job was done.
One caller, who was an air conditioner repair man, as one of Saddam's sons ordered him to be, as in Iraq, young men went in the military and did the job they were told to do.......
If you did not do the chosen job, you had 2 other choices,
stay in the military or drop dead.
He told how he, his wife and 2 small children, managed to get permits to go across the country line, and they did and disappeared, with new fake ID's and 2 or 3 countries, until they finally reached America.
Sixteen years later, he was happy to be an American, with his girls in an American high school and yes, he was still doing air conditioner repair work.
Maybe the best caller that I have heard recently, was the man from Cambodia, he had never called a show before and this was on KDWN out of Las Vegas.
Las Vegas has had a lot of liberals move there from California and New York, it has to have ruined the town, as I hear them moan all the time on KDWN.
I forget what the big liberal complaint was, but all the anti-war had called the station and it was ugly.
KDWN does not screen their calls, so that you get un-screened opinions as well.
All of a sudden the man from Cambodia was on the air, he told the anti crowd to keep their mouths shut, that they did not know what they were talking about.
His suggestion was that they go and experience, hunger, fear and torture in Cambodia or any country that America has attempted to free.
I felt pride listening to the man, knowing that he was now an American.
I have not heard him call again, he had a message and gave it.
I do not often call the talk shows, but if I do, I will ask that if he is listening, to call again, who knows, maybe one day he will be a Freeper, if he is not already.

Let us hope! Your son is one of the best! Why people like Murtha are blind to the idea that young Americans WANT to serve their country is really difficult to understand - how the wish for Dem party power can be more important than the future of America is really pathological.
There are a lot of leftist households in the upscale neighborhood near me, who have "War is not the Answer" signs in their yards. I am so tempted to make bumper stickers that say "Depends on the Question" and paste them on the signs when I take a walk.
These women recruit private high school girls to dress in black and line a major street of Baltimore from time to time holding anti-war signs. So far I have not seen a real groundswell of the young participants - mostly the aging hippies and some of the radical-feminist-age women.
Would it be wrong to pray for the good Lord to take this pr*ck to his enernal "reward"?
