RNC member calls for anti-illegals vote
THE WASHINGTON TIMES ^ | 13 January 2006 | Stephen Dinan

Posted on 01/13/2006 7:23:05 AM PST by Rockitz

A Republican National Committee member has gathered enough signatures to engineer a party vote next week on a resolution that calls for tougher immigration and border enforcement and opposes a guest-worker plan in what could be a head-to-head showdown on President Bush's signature immigration proposal.

"It's pretty clear where the American public is on this issue -- they want the border fixed. They want the government to do something about employers who hire illegal workers. I believe that's essentially where the Republican Party is," said Randy Pullen, the national committeeman from Arizona who is sponsoring the resolution.

Ken Mehlman RNC Chairman called me after I raised heck about the weak RINOS and the Invasion of America.

He disappointed me as he took a page out of the Democrat play book by trying to scare me.

He kept trying to convince me that they would lose both houses if I did not contribute to the RNC.

I told him I would only contribute to people who have Americas best interests at heart.

I also told him that they should kick the RINOS and open border people out of their committees.

I also said If President Bush would get tough on the border, he would be the best this century.

The best President of the last century failed at the SCOTUS he appointed and giving amnesty to criminals.

Please forgive the grammatical mistake, you were correct in that I meant to post "is not". I believe the government is beginning to tighten up some as to actually beginning to do more as what is required, however, nothing has been done seriously for years. Granted, some are deported, but not most. I am not against those trying to come here to better their lives and enjoy the greatest country on earth, but, we can only absorb so many immigrants a year as infrastructure has to expand and that takes time.

A lot of tax free dollars flow out of this country to south of the border just so illegals' families can have food and medical. We do not have enough money to 'save' everyone in the world from financial hardship. Sad and true and that is the reality.

Polio, TB, Whooping Cough are making a comeback because our borders aren't secure and the trafficking of illegals from all over the world. This great nation has spent millions to get these specific diseases out of our population. Let's (our leaders) not waste though efforts and our parents' and grandparents' hard earned tax dollars with warm fuzzy feelings and excuses. Let's not cave in to the philosophies of The Trilateral Commission and the Council on Foreign Relations with respect to 'The New World Order'. Those notions cost a lot of money and most other countries supporting that BS will renege on their financial commitments.

Who says they got it? I believe nothing until those borders are sealed. I've seen encouraging sighns, but nothing they can't renege on.

My Congressman is Culberson. I almost wish it was somebody else because I like him and I want to vote against an incumbent. Actually, I moved, and I think I might be in Al Greens district now.

Fixing the illegal probblem is a fix for the size of the transfer payments. I wish we could get them to enforce controls on welfare for illegals with the same vigor we want them to prosecute scofflaw employers. I would like to see residency requirements for voting enthusiastically enforced as well.

"So I guess when I hung up on the RNC for the 16th time, they finally got it?"

That, plus the refusal to donate any more $$ to the RNC. That really got their attention.

No more money from me until I see all of the tough reforms in place and being implemented. Not another dime until then.

You apparently missed the question mark at the end of my comment. ;o)

There are so many weasel maneuvers that these pols pull when they want to appear one way and do the opposite, I've lost track.

They get much more money from the big donors who need the cheap labor than from the small fry who is angered about not knowing the language in his former home town.

Nothing has changed, this is just a bit of red meat for the base.

Nothing in Washington moves fast. Our opinions will always be way ahead of the curve, on the cutting edge.

About the time you start to get horse in the throat from screaming and you have ripped your hair out and just about given up hope, things start to move.

Mexico is getting help from groups in the U.S., including the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Thomas Donohue, chief executive officer of the chamber, said in a Jan. 4 speech in Washington that he will fight against the House legislation on immigration.

Just not contributing doesn't seem to get the message across.

I get that impression too. But it will work eventually if enough of us quit contributing and let them know exactly why. And if enough of us don't vote or vote for a 3rd party truly-conservative candidate, we'll eventually get the point across. Change will likely be slower than we'd like - I've seen the invasion for 30 years now in TX and CA and I'm thrilled that it is finally a topic of debate. Even if the immigration bill doesn't pass the Senate (likely), I have hope something similar will pas in the future. We've gotten the ball rolling!

The immigrant-illegal con game is so predictable: They whine about coming here b/c they want only to get "menial jobs" to help out their poverty-stricken families in "underdeveloped countries."

Then, before you can say "hasta la vista, baby," working class born-American taxpayers are footing the bills for immigrants' medical needs, welfare, food stamps, housing, all levels of schooling including college, child care, maternity benefits, and so on. Taxpayers are subsidizing immigrants' daily food intake, housing, reduced mortgages, free medical, education, reduced in-state tuition and out of state tuition fees. We also foot the legal bills when they start suing if we don't provide these goodies pronto.

Lastly, and more ominous, is that they become hyphenated voting blocs, demanding representation in the US Congress, state legislatures and beyond so that they can get even more government benefits.

They bring with them their utter contempt for our efforts to maintain a civilied society under our Constitution.

OK, did I hear you say "underdeveloped countries?"

The government of Mexico---with all of its oil revenue----needs to be taking care of its own people, not "outsourcing' them as wards of American taxpayers. Mexico can well-afford it. Mexico has more "Forbes" billionaires, 11, than all but eight other nations. It has more billionaires than Saudi Arabia, Switzerland or Taiwan. It also has more than 85,000 millionaires.

According to a CNN report, Mexico sits on oil reserves worth about $400 billion, but Mexico's state-owned oil company, Pemex, doesn't have the investment funds to tap those reserves, and Mexico's Congress refuses to allow foreign investment in Pemex. However, some observers say this is due to Mexican gov't corruption, and the obsession to line their own pockets. Adding insult to injury American taxpayers are subsidizing foreign aid transfers to Mexico.

According to Visa International--which is now clamoring for a share of the transfer fees--American money sent South of the Border by illegals constitutes $38 BILLION this year alone constituting Mexico's second largest most profitable industry.

America should mandate proof for all cash transfers out of the US and/or force all transferring agencies -- banks, credit unions, Amex, Western Union to collect a substantial withholding tax -- 50%, say -- on every unexplained foreign remittance.

Mexico is a wealthy oil-producing neighbor of the US forces its poor people to flee to the US to work and then send money back home.

Mexico has no welfare safety nets, health insurance for its people and no Social Security System. The US even provides the defense umbrella to protect Mexico, so they have no real defense expenses.

America needs to seal our borders and let Vincente Fox know that we will cut off every penny in aid he gets from the United States.

This unmitigated contempt for America, and working-class, tax-paying Americans, cannot go unchallenged. The sense of entitlement these people have is outrageous-----that the rest of us owe them a living. And that US citizens, and the US government, exist for their convenience while they break our laws, at will.

The only thing between us and camouflage-clad federales patrolling our streets with shoulder holsters is the rule of law.

After spending several years starting oil exploration crews for Pemex and re-reading Atlas Shrugged, I think I have The reason Mexico has become so bad.

I like the Mexican people in the fly over parts of Mexico. The mid level and workers of Pemex are good. It is the government and the high up in Pemex that are the vultures and looters. The peso was about 8 cents (12.5 to a dollar). When Pemex found the sito grande, a very large oil pool that covers parts of the states of Chiapas and Tabasco also a long ways into the Gulf of Mexico.

Pemex borrowed billions to produce this great oil find. The looters (government) stole most of the money and what they did buy was junk oil rigs and drill pipe, etc. 1,000 pesos which was worth about $80 now will not buy a coke. This was due to the looters stealing billions from the Mexican people.(old pesos)

Instead of overthrowing the looters the Mexican people had an out, they had no weapons and they could cross into America and have a much safer life. This hurts both Mexico and America as Mexico lost some of it's hardest workers. The gang bangers also came over from Mexico as they could rape and pillage at will.
Dope and welfare crimes are also the result of this invasion.

The government of Mexico is propped up by the billions sent back by the illegals and by our government having borders that are too open.

The only chance I see to help America and Mexico is to seal the border, deport the people who are not here legally. We also need to arm the Mexican people so they can have a chance against the looters with their armies.

Anyone have an idea of how to get the message across to the RNC that there are hundreds of thousands of us out here sick of the same ole garbage out of Washington.

Print out and send them the fake pesos that have been posted here on other threads. I'll try to find them.
