The bounty should be $5000 each

If you make the bounty too high, you encourage Mr. Morales (legal immigrant) to have his brother's 10 kids 'sneak' over the border. They could have a little party, then call the INS the next day. Mr. Morales would get $50,000 (10 x $5,000); and the kids would be sent home, and the cycle would repeat every month.

Imagine, Mr. Morales calls the INS once a month to report illegals, like a good citizen should. 12 months x $50,000 = $600,000; with 50% being sent back to Mexico to his brother. What an awesome scam. Even I'd be tempted by this one. This is why I said the bounty I would offer would be $50.

you are correct, and the money being pocketed by the "friends" I would bet is near one billion $ per year.
yet
that one billion $ figure is probably low...

Thank you ambassador!

I've gotten so frustrated hearing this crap from Mexico with no official response

I would like to see an official response from our President. Has he said anything in support of our country's right to secure our border? If he has, I sure haven't heard it. I still think Fox has something on him. His silence on this issue is deafening. Protests down there because we won't have an open border, just chirping crickets from the White House.

More Americans have been adversely affected by illegal immigrants from Mexico than were by nineteen Saudi nationals on September 11, 2001.

I was agreeing with this statement:

"Comparisons of proposals to alter our border policies to the Berlin Wall are not only disingenuous and intellectually dishonest, they are personally offensive to me."

And we need a lot more of them!

Pure rhetoric by our ambassador. On illegal immigration watch what they do. Not what they they say.

It's a cliché but perfectly describes the situation.

I know.

Secure America and THEN talk about what comes next.

Else, the problems compound on themselves.

"But we do trust that our neighbors will respect our right to those measures on our own territory," he said, "and will understand the distinction we make between legal and illegal immigration."

Nice statement, Ambassador Garza, but how do you expect Mexicans to make the distinction between legal and illegal immigration when our own politicians won't?

you aren't curious as to who is being paid off .....
for their support and policies that benefit illegals?

There has to be big $'s exchanging hands, not only at highest levels of our government, but at the state and local levels as well, and did I forget the media......

This adds up, yet there is no investigation into who is being paid off.... and if no-one is being paid off....
why would those at the highest levels of our government be behaving as though they have been bought off.....????

These people, we elected (LOL), are supposed to protect and defend this nation and this nation's people.....
I don't see them doing this....in fact I know they aren't protecting this nation and this nation's people. Just wait and see, after the next attack, NOTHING will be done again, and more money will exhange hands, not only from the taxpayers to illegals, but by other means as well.

Again, I wish I could be more optomistic, but these traitors and traitor-wanna-be's have an agenda and protection of the American people is not in that agenda.

BTW... I blame congress more than the president. Yet both congress and the president share the blame, as well as countless state and local officials.

In other words, you ain't seen nothing yet.

I don't think he'd be stupid enough to repeat that one. It didn't go over very well the first time.

However, there has been alot of talk about "leaving it up to the professionals". Good news is there is also alot of talk in some states about allowing police to involve themselves. I think that's great because a police officer would have a good feel as to whether a person is really bad. They aren't going to bother with the paperwork on one person if they are just illegal Joe Blow but will bother with the paperwork if they are bad news.

This is why I said the bounty I would offer would be $50.
----
Good point, but you prevent that by making it a condition of the bounty, that the person who gets the reward must PERSONALLY drag the illegal to the border to be shipped back -- so that all the world can see who is getting the reward!!! That will fix that little loophole. The bounty-hunters become well known. Also they must be U.S. citizens to collect and they must prove it.

Lots of ways to boil it down to real American patriots getting the rewards. And the higher the better for those patriots. Let's encourage REAL AMERICANS, not Mexicans, to fix the problem. :-)

The payoff is oil and slave labor, with a North American Union in the wings. I assume that over half the nation's elected officials in D.C. have anonymous offshore bank accounts and do our enemies' bidding.
