However, I want in on that pact... I'm so damn out of shape it's horrible... I used to run all the time, even ran NYC Marathon twice, but then tore my knee... Ever since I had arthro surgery, I just have not had the drive I used to and man did I put weight on that I thought I'd gotten rid of forever.... Uhhhh, No! : )
Well, Dasher and I have both promised to shed 25 by July 1. Are you in? I'll put you on the Regaining Hottitude Ping List!
On the subject of knees, I have a friend who's a triathlete, but who had terrible problems with (I think it's called) her IT band, a muscle near or around the knee - it got so bad she can barely cycle. Now they're thinking it might be lupus.
I'm in girl, put me down... 25 pounds will put me right around the weight I'd feel good with.... Do you think being a 37 yr. old guy on a "Regaining Hottitude Ping List" makes me sound.... uhh, you know... : )
I'm an idiot when it comes to exact names of the parts around the knee, I know that with me it was 3 seperate tears, but they were all in the medial meniscus... I think that's a pretty common injury, though... Not sure with the IT band?? Wow, it doesn't sound too good, though... I hope she gets through it ok...
As a 37-year-old broad, I think it's all about regaining hottitude no matter what your gender!
I went to a Spa for Xmas and came back 8 pounds lighter with a tan.
