Didn't Pat Robertson have to apologize for saying God was mad at Sharon? Also he is not being challenged on the overt racism of his statement. Oh, I forgot. Blacks can't be racists.

Can it be? say it ain't so? A black preacher with even less credibility than Jessie Jackson or Al Sharpton.

"It's time for us to come together. It's time for us to rebuild New Orleans — the one that should be a chocolate New Orleans," the mayor said. "This city will be a majority African American city. It's the way God wants it to be. You can't have New Orleans no other way. It wouldn't be New Orleans."

This just makes me sick. Dr. King wanted a society where the character of a person mattered more than the color of his or her skin. Comments like this from Nagin indicate that we are not getting any closer to that ideal.

Mayor Ray Nagin suggested ......

-----Anything that Nagin has to say is either going to be ignorant or racist. Either way, whatever he "suggests" in the article is nothing more than a crock of s**t that he and his "chocolate" (his words, not mine) buddies have made up to sound like they are more educated than they are. God is the one that saved his sorry ass and he better be thankful for that and step up to the plate and take the blame for his stupidity.

Nagin also promised that New Orleans will be a "chocolate" city again.

Is the Hershey company relocating to NO!

In other news, Nagin stated, "I'm Gumby dammit!"

"Surely he doesn't approve of us being in Iraq under false pretenses. But surely he is upset at black America also. We're not taking care of ourselves." Nagin also promised that New Orleans will be a "chocolate" city again.
I can see why he'd be fumin' about the voters of New Orleans...

this very dumb man not only says we are in Iraq under false pretenses, but also says one day NOLA will be like "chocolate" again one dumbed down human being. If anything, God is letting him live only so we can laugh at his low IQ.

Whoa. "Chocolate"???

If a caucasian mayor referred to A-A citizens of his town that way, there'd be no end to the calls of retribution for his 'hate speech'!

Does the Mayor actually visit with the people who evacuated the areas around NOLA? I've seen tons of news stories where it said that many A-A's found such wonderful new lives outside of NOLA, that they weren't leaving their new homes to go back to what they had originally (whole lot of nothing)--plus I've also read a lot of stories about the huge numbers of Hispanics flooding (so to speak) the area for the rebuilding. I bet in a decade or so the good Mayor's prediction is going to be off a flavor or two.

Chocolate? I'm still trying to get over that one.

"Surely God is mad at America. He sent us hurricane after hurricane after hurricane, and it's destroyed and put stress on this country,"

What a stupid statement. This has to do with God's Judgment...Judgment starts with the House of God first which America is. This has nothing to do with God being mad at America. It has to do with the people of America. The people of America have brought judgment on America. Once we're through our judgment...look out world it's your turn.

Welcome to New Orleans...the chocolate capital of the United States!
