Not sure how the House has anything to do with teh Senate vote. Or are you referring to the Democrats taking both Houses?

If you are going to patroize, it helps to have some clue what you're talking about (re: the House's role in impeachment proceedings).

Let's not get too complacent. I can imagine the RATs saying the same thing in 1993.

Why is it a secret ..?? I thought even committee votes were public information ..??
All a person would have to do is look at the record and see who voted against taking the guy out of committee. And .. even if there was no committee vote - there had to be a senator or 2 who gave the guy a blue slip - just like Durbin did to one of Bush's appointments - and Bush ended up having to do a recess appointment.
It's time to take these dems to task.
And .. this isn't about Whitewater - this is about HER HUSBAND'S impeachment. She wants revenge - and that quest is going to sink her.

Was thinking of the Senates role in voting on a SCOTUS nominee. I was not patronizing you. The relevance between the house impeaching and blackmailing Bush into picking a Liberal for SCOTUS didn't register.

OK. I may have over-reacted too. Let's put this ugly little incident behind us, shall we?

The next president must have no connection to Yale.

Good luck with that.
BTW, did you know that President Bush is related to 16 former presidents besides his father?

"Rest assured, "Whitewater Payback" will happen when the Rats take the House in November."
You may be right about Whitewater Payback, but the problem is that the 'Rats will not take the House in November.
Will
Not
Happen

Congradulations. I've had that tagline for over a month, and you are the first one who got it. Your prize is a dubious knowledge of dead languages.

I phrased badly, and I agree with you in the sense you infer.
I only meant to state that they have united Conservatives of all flavors to fight and defeat these evil, corrupt and enemy dim-O-rats. I will work as hard as I possibly can to defeat them.
Conservatives will unite and slay these enemies of all that is Good and Righteous (both foreign and "domestic")! Look how we here on Free Republic have focused on the fight ahead.
Please understand that I believe it will be we Conservatives that lead our great Nation to VICTORY... in both politics, and in the World War in which we are embroiled. The largest battles in this War on Terror are yet to come. I have no doubt that in the end we will prevail once again. With dim-O-rats in control, we lose. Americans will not surrender by electing surrender monkeys.
